Some QE GPIO pins have an associated interrupt line in the QE PIC to
signal state changes on the pin.
Because the GPIO controller does not perform any interrupt handling
itself, a nexus node (interrupt-map) is used to map each GPIO line
supporting IRQ to the parent QE PIC interrupt domain.
Add the to_irq() method in the corresponding GPIO controller driver,
that uses the nexus node to perform the translation.

Before commit 156460811def ("soc: fsl: qe: Change GPIO driver to a
proper platform driver") qe_add_gpiochips() was walking the device
tree to find all nodes with compatible "fsl,mpc8323-qe-pario-bank".
After that commit the discovery is handled by the platform core,
therefore it is necessary to call of_platform_default_populate() on
the par_io node.

Commit 7aa1aa6ecec2 ("QE: Move QE from arch/powerpc to drivers/soc")
moved QE into drivers/soc including gpio.c but left CONFIG_QE_GPIO
in powerpc's Kconfig.
Move it to SoC as well as it is the only place it is used:
drivers/soc/fsl/qe/Makefile:obj-$(CONFIG_QE_GPIO) += gpio.o qe_ports_ic.o
include/soc/fsl/qe/qe.h:#ifdef CONFIG_QE_GPIO
include/soc/fsl/qe/qe.h:#endif /* CONFIG_QE_GPIO */
There is also a dependency in USB subsystem for CONFIG_USB_FHCI_HCD:
drivers/usb/host/Kconfig: depends on QE_GPIO && QUICC_ENGINE
Because that USB driver selects CONFIG_FSL_GTM which is specific to
powerpc, it has to depend on CONFIG_PPC.

When ioremap() fails in qe_reset(), the global pointer qe_immr remains
NULL, leading to a subsequent NULL pointer dereference when the pointer
is accessed. Since this happens early in the boot process, a failure to
map a few bytes of I/O memory indicates a fatal error from which the
system cannot recover.
Follow the same pattern as qe_sdma_init() and panic immediately when
ioremap() fails. This avoids a silent NULL pointer dereference later
and makes the error explicit.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using
git grep -l '\<k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'
to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.
Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.
For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:
Single allocations: kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)
Array allocations: kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)
Flex array allocations: kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with: kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
(where TYPE may also be *VAR)
The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

The driver currently sets the handler data and the chained handler in
two separate steps. This creates a theoretical race window where an
interrupt could fire after the handler is set but before the data is
assigned, leading to a NULL pointer dereference.
Replace the two calls with irq_set_chained_handler_and_data() to set
both the handler and its data atomically under the irq_desc->lock.

Remove legacy-of-mm-gpiochip.h header file. The above mentioned
file provides an OF API that's deprecated. There is no agnostic
alternatives to it and we have to open code the logic which was
hidden behind of_mm_gpiochip_add_data(). Note, most of the GPIO
drivers are using their own labeling schemas and resource retrieval
that only a few may gain of the code deduplication, so whenever
alternative is appear we can move drivers again to use that one.
As a side effect this change fixes a potential memory leak on
an error path, if of_mm_gpiochip_add_data() fails.

irq_domain_add_*() interfaces are going away as being obsolete now.
Switch to the preferred irq_domain_create_*() ones. Those differ in the
node parameter: They take more generic struct fwnode_handle instead of
struct device_node. Therefore, of_fwnode_handle() is added around the
original parameter.
Note some of the users can likely use dev->fwnode directly instead of
indirect of_fwnode_handle(dev->of_node). But dev->fwnode is not
guaranteed to be set for all, so this has to be investigated on case to
case basis (by people who can actually test with the HW).

The non-scoped variant of this macro turns error-prone as soon as error
paths are included, because explicit calls to of_node_put() are required
to avoid leaking memory.
Using its scoped counterpart simplifies the code by removing the need of
explicit calls to of_node_put(), as they are automatically triggered as
soon as the child node goes out of scope. Moreover, it is more robust as
it accounts for new error paths without having to worry about
decrementing the object's refcount.
Note that the device_node is declared within the macro, and its explicit
declaration can be dropped as well if it is not used anywhere else.

After commit 0edb555a65d1 ("platform: Make platform_driver::remove()
return void") .remove() is (again) the right callback to implement for
platform drivers.
Convert all platform drivers below drivers/soc to use .remove(), with
the eventual goal to drop struct platform_driver::remove_new(). As
.remove() and .remove_new() have the same prototypes, conversion is done
by just changing the structure member name in the driver initializer.
On the way do a few whitespace changes to make indention consistent.

QMC driver requires fsl_soc.h to use function get_immrbase().
This header is provided by powerpc architecture and the functions
it declares are defined only when FSL_SOC is selected.
Today the dependency is the following:
depends on CPM1 || QUICC_ENGINE || \
(FSL_SOC && (CPM || QUICC_ENGINE) && COMPILE_TEST)
This dependency tentatively ensure that FSL_SOC is there when doing a
COMPILE_TEST.
CPM1 is only selected by PPC_8xx and cannot be selected manually.
CPM1 selects FSL_SOC
QUICC_ENGINE on the other hand can be selected by ARM or ARM64 which
doesn't select FSL_SOC. QUICC_ENGINE can also be selected with just
COMPILE_TEST.
It is therefore possible to end up with CPM_QMC selected
without FSL_SOC.
So fix it by making it depend on FSL_SOC at all time.
The rest of the above dependency is the same as the one for CPM_TSA on
which CPM_QMC also depends, so it can go away, leaving only a simple
dependency on FSL_SOC.

Add support for the QMC (QUICC Multichannel Controller) available in
some PowerQUICC SoC that uses a QUICC Engine (QE) block such as MPC8321.
This QE QMC is similar to the CPM QMC except that it uses UCCs (Unified
Communication Controllers) instead of SCCs (Serial Communication
Controllers). Also, compared against the CPM QMC, this QE QMC does not
use a fixed area for the UCC/SCC parameters area but it uses a dynamic
area allocated and provided to the hardware at runtime.
