The i2c block on Apple silicon M3 Pro, Max and Ultra SoCs are compatible
with the t8103 (M1) one. Add "apple,t6030-i2c" for M3 Pro and
"apple,t6031-i2c" for M3 Max and Ultra as per-SoC compatibles.

Add DT bindings for the QUP GENI I2C controller on sa8255p platforms.
SA8255p platform abstracts resources such as clocks, interconnect and
GPIO pins configuration in Firmware. SCMI power and perf protocol
are utilized to request resource configurations.
SA8255p platform does not require the Serial Engine (SE) common properties
as the SE firmware is loaded and managed by the TrustZone (TZ) secure
environment.

Convert the Altera SoftIP I2C Controller bindings from legacy text
format to modern dt-schema (YAML).
The hardware constraints and properties remain identical. The example
node was updated to use a standard 32-bit address space to clear
compilation warnings.

Convert the LSI Axxia I2C Controller bindings from legacy text
format to modern dt-schema (YAML).
During the conversion, the obsolete `device_type = "i2c"` property
was dropped from the example, as it is deprecated and not utilized
by the driver. The `clock-names` property is enforced as required
matching the driver probe behavior. The example node address was
also updated to a standard 32-bit address.

There is no use of double colon '::' in YAML. OTOH, the literal style
block, e.g. using '|' treats all characters as content [1] therefore
single use of ':' in descriptions is perfectly fine, whenever '|' is
used.
Cleanup existing code, so the confusing style won't be re-used in new
contributions.

Both CoreI2C and the hardened versions of it on mpfs and pic64gx have a
reset pin. For the former, usually this is wired to a common fabric
reset not managed by software and for the latter two the platform
firmware takes them out of reset on first-party boards (or those using
modified versions of the vendor firmware), but not all boards may take
this approach. Permit providing a reset in devicetree for Linux, or
other devicetree-consuming software, to use.

Convert Documentation/devicetree/bindings/i2c/i2c-mux-reg.txt to
the YAML schema so the i2c-mux-reg binding is validated by
dt_binding_check. Faithful port of the existing properties; no
semantic change.

The unfortunately named 'phandle-array' property type is really a matrix
with phandle and fixed arg cells entries. A matrix property should have 2
levels of items constraints.

Convert the Texas Instruments DaVinci and Keystone I2C controller
bindings from legacy text format to modern dt-schema (YAML).
During the conversion, the `interrupts` property was made required
to match the strict requirement in the driver probe function. The
custom `ti,has-pfunc` and `power-domains` properties were also
properly defined to match SoC-specific hardware features.

The i2c block on the Apple silicon t8122 (M3) SoC is compatible with the
existing driver. Add "apple,t8122-i2c" as SoC specific compatible under

Add the "realtek,rtl9607-i2c" compatible for i2c controller on the
RTL9607C SoC series.
Add a clocks property to the properties to describe the i2c reference
clock and make it available for all the compatibles. This i2c reference
clock is assumed to be coming from switchcore region via Lexra bus as
the other SoC peripherals.
According to the info available about the existing devices, they also
have the i2c master controller clocks.
RTL9607C requires the "realtek,scl" and "clocks" to be specified
and so handle it under separate if check for "realtek,rtl9607-i2c".

As stated in the d70f60ad964d ("i2c: designware: Remove
not-going-to-be-supported code for Baikal SoC") the Baikal
platforms are not supported and the respective driver code
was removed. Remove the currently unused bindings.

Pull SoC devicetree updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"There are a handful of new SoCs this time, all of these are more or
less related to chips in a wider family:
- SpacemiT Key Stone K3 is an 8-core risc-v chip, and the first
widely available RVA23 implementation. Note that this is entirely
unrelated with the similarly named Texas Instruments K3 chip family
that follwed the TI Keystone2 SoC.
- The Realtek Kent family of SoCs contains three chip models
rtd1501s, rtd1861b and rtd1920s, and is related to their earlier
Set-top-box and NAS products such as rtd1619, but is built on newer
Arm Cortex-A78 cores.
- The Qualcomm Milos family includes the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 (SM7635)
mobile phone SoC built around Armv9 Kryo cores of the Arm
Cortex-A720 generation. This one is used in the Fairphone Gen 6
- Qualcomm Kaanapali is a new SoC based around eight high performance
Oryon CPU cores
- NXP i.MX8QP and i.MX952 are both feature reduced versions of chips
we already support, i.e. the i.MX8QM and i.MX952, with fewer CPU
cores and I/O interfaces.
As part of a cleanup, a number of SoC specific devicetree files got
removed because they did not have a single board using the .dtsi files
and they were never compile tested as a result: Samsung s3c6400, ST
spear320s, ST stm32mp21xc/stm32mp23xc/stm32mp25xc, Renesas
r8a779m0/r8a779m2/r8a779m4/r8a779m6/r8a779m7/r8a779m8/r8a779mb/
r9a07g044c1/r9a07g044l1/r9a07g054l1/r9a09g047e37, and TI
am3703/am3715. All of these could be restored easily if a new board
gets merged.
Broadcom/Cavium/Marvell ThunderX2 gets removed along with its only
machine, as all remaining users are assumed to be using ACPI based
firmware.
A relatively small number of 43 boards get added this time, and almost
all of them for arm64. Aside from the reference boards for the newly
added SoCs, this includes:
- Three server boards use 32-bit ASpeed BMCs
- One more reference board for 32-bit Microchip LAN9668
- 64-bit Arm single-board computers based on Amlogic s905y4, CIX
sky1, NXP ls1028a/imx8mn/imx8mp/imx91/imx93/imx95, Qualcomm
qcs6490/qrb2210 and Rockchip rk3568/rk3588s
- Carrier board for SOMs using Intel agilex5, Marvell Armada 7020,
NXP iMX8QP, Mediatek mt8370/mt8390 and rockchip rk3588
- Two mobile phones using Snapdragon 845
- A gaming device and a NAS box, both based on Rockchips rk356x
On top of the newly added boards and SoCs, there is a lot of
background activity going into cleanups, in particular towards getting
a warning-free dtc build, and the usual work on adding support for
more hardware on the previously added machines"

This is a USB HID device which includes an I2C controller and 8 GPIO pins.
The binding allows describing the chip's gpio and i2c controller in DT,
with the i2c controller being bound to a subnode named "i2c". This is
intended to be used in configurations where the CP2112 is permanently
connected in hardware.
