| 2026-03-17 | selftests: ovpn: check asymmetric peer-id | Ralf Lici | |
| Extend the base test to verify that the correct peer-id is set in data packet headers. This is done by capturing ping packets with tcpdump during the initial exchange and matching the first portion of the header against the expected sequence for every connection. | 2026-03-17 | selftests: ovpn: add notification parsing and matching | Ralf Lici | |
| To verify that netlink notifications are correctly emitted and contain the expected fields, this commit uses the tools/net/ynl/pyynl/cli.py script to create multicast listeners. These listeners record the captured notifications to a JSON file, which is later compared to the expected output.
