The paramters of the WM8958 multiband compressor can be tuned by the
user for their system using a graphical configuration tool on the host.
Allow the user to specify a set of such paramters in platform data and
select between them at runtime.

The WM8958 contains an advanced accessory detection feature which allows
detection of up to seven different impedence levels on the microphone
bias output, including detection of video outputs. Since some of the
more involved accessory interfaces may involve noticable interactions
with external components a simple detection scheme is provided by
default with the option to provide custom handling of accessory detect.

The WM8958 features a multi-band compressor which can be enabled on
any of the AIF inputs. The MBC allows different gains to be applied to
differnt audio bands, providing an improvement in perceived loudness
of the signal by avoiding overdriving the output transducers. This
patch enables support for the MBC.

The WM8958 is a derivative of the WM8994 which is register compatible
with the addition of some extra features, mostly in the CODEC side.
The major change visible at the MFD level is that rather than a single
DBVDD supply we now have three separate DBVDDs so we must request and
enable a different set of supplies.

The WM8350 driver was using some custom constants to interpret the direction
of the MCLK signal which had the opposite values to those used as standard
by the ASoC core, causing confusion in machine drivers such as the 1133-EV1
board.

In preparation for the addition of SPI support for the WM831x move the I2C
specific code into a separate file with a separate Kconfig option so the
I2C support can be excluded from the build.
Also update the 1133-EV1 PMIC module support for SMDK6410 to use the new
symbol.

mc13892 is the companion PMIC for Freescale's i.MX51. It's similar enough
to mc13782 to support it in a single driver.
This patch introduces enough compatibility cruft to keep all users of the
superseded mc13783 driver unchanged.

The upcoming VIA VX855 MFD driver needs to communicate resources
to subdevices where the resources may be claimed by ACPI.
Add a flag to mfd_cell to request that resources are not policed.

This patch makes the ab8500 mixed signal chip expose the same
interface for register access as the ab3100, ab3550 and ab5500 chip.
The ab8500_read() and ab8500_write() is removed and replaced with
abx500_get_register_interruptible() and
abx500_set_register_interruptible().

Adjust the tmio_mmc block size check to accept 2-byte requests in 4-bit
mode if the hardware supports it.

On some platforms (e.g. AP4EVB) the card detect pin of a slot is not
directly connected to the sdhi hardware, so that polling needs to be used
with tmio_mmc and card detection is handled in the platform code.
This patch allows to set tmio_mmc capabilities (to pass the
MMC_CAP_NEEDS_POLL flag) and exposes a get_cd hook for that purpose.

Some controllers, supported by the tmio_mmc driver do not have the card

The MAX8998 chip have regulator and rtc features. The i2c slave address
of regulator and rtc is different, so needs each i2c client on i2c
operation functions.
Also, this patch exports i2c operation functions instead of callback to
make easy to read.

GPIOs on these controller are multi-functional. If you decided to use
some of them e.g. as input channels for the ADC, you surely don't want
those pins to be reassigned as simple GPIOs (which may be triggered even
from userspace via 'export'). Same for the touchscreen controller pins.
Since knowledge about the hardware is needed to decide which GPIOs to
reserve, let this bitmask be inside platform_data and provide some
defines to assist potential users.

Add mfd core driver for TPS6586x PMICs family.
The driver provides I/O access for the sub-device drivers and performs
regstration of the sub-devices based on the platform requirements.
In addition it implements GPIOlib interface for the chip GPIOs.

Add support for the STMPE family of I/O Expanders from
STMicroelectronics. These devices include upto 24 gpios and a varying
selection of blocks, including PWM, keypad, and touchscreen controllers.
This patch adds the MFD core.

This patch adds voltage regulator driver for Maxim 8998 chip. This chip
is used on Samsung Aquila and GONI boards and provides following
functionalities:
- 4 BUCK voltage converters, 17 LDO power regulators and 5 other power
controllers
- battery charger
This patch adds basic driver for voltage regulators and MAX 8998 MFD core.

Add a new driver to support the AB8500 Power Management chip, replacing
the current AB4500. The new driver replaces the old one, instead of an
incremental modification, because this is a substantial overhaul
including:
- Split of the driver into -core and -spi portions, to allow another
interface layer to be added
- Addition of interrupt support
- Switch to MFD core API for handling subdevices
- Simplification of the APIs to remove a redundant block parameter
- Rename of the APIs and macros from ab4500_* to ab8500_*
- Rename of the files from ab4500* to ab8500*
- Change of the driver name from ab4500 to ab8500

The interface for the AB3100 is changed to make way for the
ABX500 family of chips: AB3550, AB5500 and future ST-Ericsson
Analog Baseband chips. The register access functions are moved
out to a separate struct abx500_ops. In this way the interface
is moved from the implementation and the sub functionality drivers
can keep their interface intact when chip infrastructure and
communication mechanisms changes. We also define the AB3550
device IDs and the AB3550 platform data struct and convert
the catenated 32bit event to an array of 3 x 8bits.

The charger interrupts on the WM831x are unconditionally a wake source
for the system. If the power driver is not able to monitor them (for
example, due to the IRQ line not having been wired up on the system)
then any charger interrupt will prevent the system suspending for any
meaningful amount of time since nothing will ack them.
Avoid this issue by manually acknowledging these interrupts when we
suspend the WM831x core device if they are masked. If software is
actually using the interrupts then they will be unmasked and this
change will have no effect.

Add mfd structure which refrences sub-driver initialization data. For example,
for a giving hardware implementation, the voltage regulator sub-driver
initialization data provides the mapping betten a voltage regulator and what
the output voltage is being used for.
