We already have the lower level intel_de_*_fw() stuff, so use
that instead of hand rolling something custom for the DMC
wakelock stuff.
As the wakelock stuff exists only on platforms supported
by the xe driver this doesn't even result in any functional
changes since xe doesn't have uncore.lock nor unclaimed
register access detection.

Replace some users of intel_de_wait_custom() with intel_de_wait_ms().

Convert some of the intel_de_wait_custom() users over to
intel_de_wait_us(). We'll eventually want to eliminate
intel_de_wait_custom() as it's a hinderance towards using
poll_timeout_us().
This includes all the obvious cases where we only specify
a microsecond timeout to intel_de_wait_custom().

intel_de_wait*() take the timeout in milliseconds. Include
that information in the function name to make life less

We currently have a bunch of places that want the final register
value after register polling. Currently those places are mostly
using intel_de_wait_custom(). That is not a function that we
want to keep around as it pretty much prevents conversion to
poll_timeout_us().
Have intel_de_wait() also return the final register value so
that some of the current users can be converted over to the
simpler interface.

Currently we use a messy mix of intel_wait_for_register*()
and __intel_wait_for_register*() to implement various
register polling functions. Make the mess a bit more understandable
by always using the __intel_wait_for_register*() stuff.

Currently if a user enqueues a work item using schedule_delayed_work() the
used wq is "system_wq" (per-cpu wq) while queue_delayed_work() use
WORK_CPU_UNBOUND (used when a cpu is not specified). The same applies to
schedule_work() that is using system_wq and queue_work(), that makes use
again of WORK_CPU_UNBOUND.
This lack of consistency cannot be addressed without refactoring the API.
alloc_workqueue() treats all queues as per-CPU by default, while unbound
workqueues must opt-in via WQ_UNBOUND.
This default is suboptimal: most workloads benefit from unbound queues,
allowing the scheduler to place worker threads where they’re needed and
reducing noise when CPUs are isolated.
This continues the effort to refactor workqueue APIs, which began with
the introduction of new workqueues and a new alloc_workqueue flag in:
commit 128ea9f6ccfb ("workqueue: Add system_percpu_wq and system_dfl_wq")
commit 930c2ea566af ("workqueue: Add new WQ_PERCPU flag")
This change adds a new WQ_PERCPU flag to explicitly request
alloc_workqueue() to be per-cpu when WQ_UNBOUND has not been specified.
With the introduction of the WQ_PERCPU flag (equivalent to !WQ_UNBOUND),
any alloc_workqueue() caller that doesn’t explicitly specify WQ_UNBOUND
must now use WQ_PERCPU.
Once migration is complete, WQ_UNBOUND can be removed and unbound will
become the implicit default.

ciu clock is 2 times of io clock, but the sample clk used is
derived from io clock provided to the card. So we should use
io clock to calculate the phase.

While the auxiliary bus was a nice bandaid, and meant that re-writing
the representation of the clock regions in devicetree was not required,
it has run its course. The "mss_top_sysreg" region that contains the
clock and reset regions, also contains pinctrl and an interrupt
controller, so the time has come rewrite the devicetree and probe the
reset controller from an mfd devicetree node, rather than implement
those drivers using the auxiliary bus. Wanting to avoid propagating this
naive/incorrect description of the hardware to the new pic64gx SoC is a
major motivating factor here.

This adds CQE support for the Rockchip RK3588 and RK3576 platform. To
be functional, the eMMC device-tree node must have a 'supports-cqe;'
flag property.
As the RK3576 device-tree has been upstreamed with the 'supports-cqe;'
property set by default, the kernel already tried to use CQE, which
results in system hang during suspend. This fixes the issue.

This patch refactors pxamci_probe() to use devm-managed resource
allocation (e.g. devm_dma_request_chan) and dev_err_probe() for
improved readability and automatic cleanup on probe failure.
It also removes redundant NULL assignments and manual resource release
logic from pxamci_probe(), and eliminates the corresponding release
calls from pxamci_remove().

The i.MX8ULP System Integration Module (SIM) LPAV module is a block
control module found inside the LPAV subsystem, which offers some clock
gating options and reset line assertion/de-assertion capabilities.
Therefore, the clock gate management is supported by registering the
module's driver as a clock provider, while the reset capabilities are
managed via the auxiliary device API to allow the DT node to act as a
reset and clock provider.

In the 'mdt_loader.h' header, both the prototype and the inline
version of the qcom_mdt_load() function uses 'fw_name' as name for
the firmware name parameter. Additionally, the other qcom_mdt_*
functions are using that as well.
For consistency, rename the 'firmware' parameter in the implementation
of the qcom_mdt_load() to 'fw_name' and update the function accordingly.
No functional changes.

The qcom_mdt_load_no_init() function is just a simple wrapper around
of __qcom_mdt_load(). Since commit 0daf35da397b ("soc: qcom: mdt_loader:
Remove pas id parameter") both functions are using the same type of
parameters and providing the same functionality.
Keeping two functions for the same purpose is superfluous, so rename
the __qcom_mdt_load() function to qcom_mdt_load_no_init() and remove
the wrapper.
No functional changes.

Remove all remaining Wi-Fi 7 header dependencies from dp_mon.c to
finalize separation of Wi-Fi 7 specific monitor mode functionality.
Remove these includes from dp_mon.c:
- wifi7/hal_desc.h
- wifi7/hal_qcn9274.h
- wifi7/dp_rx.h
Relocate hal_mon_buf_ring from wifi7/hal_desc.h to hal.h.
Relocate HAL_RX_UL_OFDMA_USER_INFO_V0_W0_VALID and HAL_RX_FCS_LEN
macros from wifi7/hal_rx.h to hal.h or dp_rx.h as appropriate.
Move the following functions to the new file wifi7/dp_mon.c
and add the ath12k_wifi7 prefix:
- ath12k_dp_mon_rx_merg_msdus()
- ath12k_dp_mon_update_radiotap()
- ath12k_dp_mon_rx_deliver_msdu()
- ath12k_dp_mon_get_buf_len()
- ath12k_dp_mon_rx_deliver()
Export several helper functions needed by the ath12k_wifi7 module.

improve modularity.
Move the following MSDU END TLV processing functions into wifi7/dp_mon.c
and rename them with the ath12k_wifi7_ prefix:

Move Wi-Fi 7-specific monitor functionality out of ath12k common code
into the Wi-Fi 7 module to improve modularity.
Move and rename the following MU user processing functions to
wifi7/dp_mon.c with the ath12k_wifi7_ prefix:
- ath12k_dp_mon_rx_handle_ofdma_info()
- ath12k_dp_mon_rx_populate_mu_user_info()
- ath12k_dp_mon_hal_rx_parse_user_info()
Move the helper functions hal_rx_mon_hal_ru_size_to_ath12k_ru_size and
hal_rx_ul_ofdma_ru_size_to_width to the Wi-Fi 7 module, and export the
helpers required by the ath12k_wifi7 code. Isolate the parsing of
MU-specific user information within the Wi-Fi 7 module to keep
common code generic.

The ath12k common monitor path still contains Wi-Fi 7 specific
SIG TLV parsing. Move these SIG TLV parsing to the Wi-Fi 7
module to improve modularity.
Relocate the following functions into wifi7/dp_mon.c and
rename them with the ath12k_wifi7_ prefix:
- ath12k_dp_mon_parse_l_sig_b()
- ath12k_dp_mon_parse_l_sig_a()
- ath12k_dp_mon_hal_rx_parse_u_sig_cmn()
- ath12k_dp_mon_hal_rx_parse_u_sig_tb()

wifi7/dp_mon.c and rename the helpers with the ath12k_wifi7_ prefix:

Export helper functions required by the Wi-Fi 7 module.
Temporarily include wifi7/hal_rx.h from dp_mon.h to provide
HAL structure definitions; remove this dependency in a later patch.

ath12k data path code to improve modularity.
Move monitor status ring processing to wifi7/dp_mon.c:
- ath12k_dp_mon_srng_process()
- __ath12k_dp_mon_process_ring()
- ath12k_dp_mon_process_ring()
Rename the above to use the ath12k_wifi7_ prefix and
export helper functions required by the ath12k_wifi7 module.
Update the Wi-Fi 7 module Makefile to build dp_mon.o.
No functional changes are intended; this is preparatory refactoring
to isolate Wi-Fi 7 monitor-mode code from shared ath12k code.

Some of the PCCs on i.MX8ULP have a sw_rst bit to control the peripheral
reset through SW method. For peripherals like GPU that need sync reset,
some delay is necessary befere & after release the reset to make sure the
HW is reset into a known status. So add some delay before & after release
reset.

ub = iocb->ki_filp->private_data cannot be NULL, as it's set in
ublk_ch_open() before it returns succesfully. req->mq_hctx cannot be
NULL as any inflight ublk request must belong to some queue. And
req->mq_hctx->driver_data cannot be NULL as it's set to the ublk_queue
pointer in ublk_init_hctx(). So drop the unnecessary checks.

Currently, CQs without a completion function are assigned the
mlx5_add_cq_to_tasklet function by default. This is problematic since
only user CQs created through the mlx5_ib driver are intended to use
this function.
Additionally, all CQs that will use doorbells instead of polling for
completions must call mlx5_cq_arm. However, the default CQ creation flow
leaves a valid value in the CQ's arm_db field, allowing FW to send
interrupts to polling-only CQs in certain corner cases.
These two factors would allow a polling-only kernel CQ to be triggered
by an EQ interrupt and call a completion function intended only for user
CQs, causing a null pointer exception.
Some areas in the driver have prevented this issue with one-off fixes
but did not address the root cause.
This patch fixes the described issue by adding defaults to the create CQ
flow. It adds a default dummy completion function to protect against
null pointer exceptions, and it sets an invalid command sequence number
by default in kernel CQs to prevent the FW from sending an interrupt to
the CQ until it is armed. User CQs are responsible for their own
initialization values.
Callers of mlx5_core_create_cq are responsible for changing the
completion function and arming the CQ per their needs.

For chips with security enabled, it's only possible to load firmware
with a valid signature pattern.
If key_id is not zero, it indicates a security chip, and the driver will
not load the config file.

The previous calculation used roundup() which caused an overflow for
rates between 25.5Gbps and 26Gbps.
For example, a rate of 25.6Gbps would result in using 100Mbps units with
value of 256, which would overflow the 8 bits field.
Simplify the upper_limit_mbps calculation by removing the
unnecessary roundup, and adjust the comparison to use <= to correctly
handle the boundary condition.

When trying to set num_doorbells to a value greater than the max number
of channels, the error message was going over the netlink limit of 80
chars, truncating the most important part of the message, the number of
channels.
Fix that by trimming the length a bit.

The current single-bit error injection mechanism flips bits directly in ECC RAM
by performing write and read operations. When the ECC RAM is actively used by
the Ethernet or USB controller, this approach sometimes trigger a false
double-bit error.
Switch both Ethernet and USB EDAC devices to use the INTTEST register
(altr_edac_a10_device_inject_fops) for single-bit error injection, similar to
the existing double-bit error injection method.
