<title>net/ncsi: fix heap OOB read in NCSI_CMD_SEND_CMD payload length</title>

ncsi_send_cmd_nl() takes the number of bytes to copy from the
attacker-controlled ncsi_pkt_hdr.length field of the in-band packet
header, while the source buffer is the NCSI_ATTR_DATA netlink
attribute whose readable size is nla_len() - sizeof(ncsi_pkt_hdr).
The two length sources are never cross-checked: only
nla_len() &gt;= sizeof(struct ncsi_pkt_hdr) is enforced.

With hdr-&gt;length set larger than the attribute payload (up to 65535
against at most 2032 readable bytes), ncsi_cmd_handler_oem() copies
past the end of the netlink attribute buffer with unsafe_memcpy(),
leaking up to ~64KB of kernel heap memory into the transmitted NCSI
command packet. The destination skb is sized by the declared payload,
so the write side does not overflow - this is a pure OOB read /
information leak, reachable with CAP_NET_ADMIN on systems with a
registered NCSI device (e.g. OpenBMC on Aspeed BMC SoCs, where
NET_NCSI=y is standard).

Reject commands whose declared payload extends past the end of the
data attribute.

The issue was found by the autokbug dynamic kernel fuzzer at Tencent
Yunding Lab.

Early return paths in NCSI RX and AEN handlers fail to release
the received skb, resulting in a memory leak.

Specifically, ncsi_aen_handler() returns on invalid AEN packets
without consuming the skb. Similarly, ncsi_rcv_rsp() exits early
when failing to resolve the NCSI device, response handler, or
request, leaving the skb unfreed.

This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

In NC-SI spec v1.2 section 8.4.44.2, the firmware name doesn't
need to be null terminated while its size occupies the full size

Correct Get Controller Packet Statistics (GCPS) 64-bit wide member
variables, as per DSP0222 v1.0.0 and forward specs. The Driver currently
collects these stats, but they are yet to be exposed to the user.
Therefore, no user impact.

Total Bytes Transmitted (byte range 36..43)
Total Unicast Packets Received (byte range 44..51)
