Commit 509f87c5f564 (evdev - do not block waiting for an event if fd is nonblock) created a code path were it was possible to use retval uninitialized. module_param(bool) used to counter-intuitively take an int. In fddd5201 (mid-2009) we allowed bool or int/unsigned int using a messy trick. It's time to remove the int/unsigned int option. Some bcm5974 trackpads have a physical button beneath the physical surface. This patch sets the property bit so user space applications can detect the trackpad type and act accordingly.
