Pull MM updates from Andrew Morton:

 - "selftests/mm: clean up build output and verbosity" (Li Wang)

   Remove some noise from the MM selftests build

 - "mm: Free contiguous order-0 pages efficiently" (Ryan Roberts)

   Speed up the freeing of a batch of 0-order pages by first scanning
   them for coalescing opportunities. This is applicable to vfree() and
   to the releasing of frozen pages

 - "mm/damon: introduce DAMOS failed region quota charge ratio"
   (SeongJae Park)

   Address a DAMOS usability issue: The DAMOS quota often exhausts
   prematurely because it charges for all memory attempted, causing slow
   and inconsistent performance when actions fail on unreclaimable
   memory.

   To fix this, a new feature lets users set a smaller, flexible quota
   charge ratio (via a numerator and denominator) for failed regions.
   Since failed actions cause less overhead, reducing their quota cost
   ensures more predictable and efficient DAMOS processing

   same memcg to coexist within a single 64-byte cache line.

<title>drivers/base/memory: set mem-&gt;altmap after successful device registration</title>

If __add_memory_block() fails at xa_store() (under memory pressure for
example), device_unregister() is called, which eventually triggers
memory_block_release() with mem-&gt;altmap still set, causing a
WARN_ON(mem-&gt;altmap).  This was triggered by modifying virtio-mem driver.

Fix this by delaying the assignment of mem-&gt;altmap until after
__add_memory_block() has succeeded.

Rename the memory block lookup helper to make the acquired reference
explicit, add memory_block_put() to wrap put_device(), remove
find_memory_block(), and use memory_block_get() as the single block-id
based lookup interface.

This makes it clearer to callers that a successful lookup holds a
reference that must be dropped, reducing the chance of forgetting the
matching put and leaking the memory block device reference.

memblk_nr_poison_inc() and memblk_nr_poison_sub() look up a memory block
via find_memory_block_by_id(), which acquires a reference to the memory
block device.

Both helpers use the returned memory block without dropping that
reference, leaking the device reference on each successful lookup.  Drop
the reference after updating nr_hwpoison.

In C, bitfields are not necessarily safe to modify from multiple
threads without locking. Switch "offline" and "offline_disabled" over
to the "flags" field so modifications are safe.

Give the MMOP enum (MMOP_OFFLINE, MMOP_ONLINE, etc) a proper type name so
the compiler can help catch invalid values being assigned to variables of
this type.

Leave the existing functions returning int alone to allow for
value-or-error pattern to remain unchanged without churn.

mmop_default_online_type is left as int because it uses the -1 sentinal
value to signal it hasn't been initialized yet.

Keep the uint8_t buffer in offline_and_remove_memory() as-is for space
efficiency, with an explicit cast when we consume the value.

Move the enum definition before the CONFIG_MEMORY_HOTPLUG guard so it is
unconditionally available for struct memory_block in memory.h.

No functional change.

the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)
