<title>OF-device: Don't overwrite numa_node in device registration</title>

Currently, the numa_node of OF-devices will be overwritten during
device_register, which simply sets the node to -1. On cell machines,
this means that devices can't find their IOMMU, which is referenced
through the device's numa node.

Set the numa node for OF devices with no parent, and use the
lower-level device_initialize and device_add functions, so that the
node is preserved.

We can remove the call to set_dev_node in of_device_alloc, as it
will be overwritten during register.

Commit 140b932f8cb6cced10b96860651a198b1b89cbb9 ("Create modalias file
in sysfs for of_platform bus") needs this to avoid breaking the sparc
builds.

Just move the code and add whitespace around some binary operators.

<title>[POWERPC] Move of_device allocation into of_device.[ch]</title>

Extract generic of_device allocation code from of_platform_device_create()
and move it into of_device.[ch], called of_device_alloc(). Also, there's now
of_device_free() which puts the device node.

This way, bus drivers that build on of_platform (like ibmebus will) can
build upon this code instead of reinventing the wheel.

This changes the uevent buffer functions to use a struct instead of a
long list of parameters. It does no longer require the caller to do the
proper buffer termination and size accounting, which is currently wrong
in some places. It fixes a known bug where parts of the uevent
environment are overwritten because of wrong index calculations.

Many thanks to Mathieu Desnoyers for finding bugs and improving the
error handling.

This moves all the common parts for the Sparc, Sparc64 and PowerPC
of_device.c files into drivers/of/device.c.

Apart from the simple move, Sparc gains of_match_node() and a call to
of_node_put in of_release_dev(). PowerPC gains better recovery if
device_create_file() fails in of_device_register().

Apparently other parts of the kernel need to know the
modalias internally (like the sysfs code in macintosh driver).

To avoid consistency issues, we export this code and use it
everywhere it's needed rather than repeat it ...
