Pull arm updates from Russell King:
 "Updates for 7.3:

   - add module description for kprobes testing module

   - remove references to CONFIG_CPU_ARM92x_CPU_IDLE options

   - expand comment in ARM's __switch_to()

  Also a number of fixes that missed 7.2:

   - disable broken eBPF on RiscPC

   - more BKPT fixes (guys, it's a *very* bad idea when everyone uses
     the BKPT instruction for their own differing purposes)

   - another preempt-rt fix, this time for siglock / CPU timers

   - fix another path where we try to send signals to processes with
     interrupts disabled

   - acquire mmap write lock for show_pte() with user faults"

<title>ARM: 9481/2: breakpoint: CFI breakpoints only on demand</title>

This removes the stub hw_breakpoint_cfi_handler() from ARM, making
it not steal breakpoint type 0x03 (ARM_ENTRY_CFI_BREAKPOINT) unless
CFI is actively used in the kernel.

When not instrumenting with CFI, or when a breakpoint is issued in
userspace, we fall through to return 1 from hw_breakpoint_pending()
"unhandled fault" so userspace can make use of this breakpoint.

Tested with LKDTM and this command line:
echo CFI_FORWARD_PROTO &gt; /sys/kernel/debug/provoke-crash/DIRECT
still works as expected.

The return value of __secure_computing() currently uses 0 to indicate
that a system call should be allowed, and -1 to indicate that it should
be blocked/killed. This 0/-1 pattern is non-intuitive for a security
check function and makes the control flow at the call sites less readable.

Furthermore, any potential future changes to these return values would
require a high-risk, error-prone audit of all its users across different
architectures.

Sanitize this logic by converting the return type of __secure_computing()
to a proper boolean, where 'true' explicitly means 'allow' and 'false'
means 'fail/deny'.

Update all the two dozen or so call sites across the tree to align with
this new boolean semantic. No functional changes are intended, as the
callers still return -1 to the lower-level assembly entry code upon
seccomp denial.

Rename the function to __seccomp_permit_syscall() so that the purpose is
entirely clear.

Pull interrupt core updates from Thomas Gleixner:

  - Rework of /proc/interrupt handling:

    /proc/interrupts was subject to micro optimizations for a long time,
    but most of the low hanging fruit was left on the table. This rework
    addresses the major time consuming issues:

      - Printing a long series of zeros one by one via a format string
        instead of counting subsequent zeros and emitting a string
        constant.

      - Simplify and cache the conditions whether interrupts should be
        printed

      - Use a proper iteration over the interrupt descriptor xarray
        instead of walking and testing one by one.

      - Provide helper functions for the architecture code to emit the
        architecture specific counters

      - Convert the counter structure in x86 to an array, which
        simplifies the output and add mechanisms to suppress unused
        architecture interrupts, which just occupy space for nothing.
        Adopt the new core mechanisms.

    This adjusts the gdb scripts related to interrupt counter statistics
    to work with the new mechanisms.

  - Prevent a string overflow in the /proc/irq/$N/ directory name
    creation code.

<title>ARM: 9476/1: mm: fix kexec and hibernation with CONFIG_CPU_TTBR0_PAN</title>

Commit 7af5b901e847 ("ARM: 9358/2: Implement PAN for LPAE by TTBR0
page table walks disablement") implemented PAN for LPAE kernels by
setting TTBCR.EPD0 on every kernel entry, disabling TTBR0 page-table
walks while running in kernel mode. The commit correctly updated
cpu_suspend() in arch/arm/kernel/suspend.c, but missed two other code
paths that switch the CPU to the identity mapping before jumping to
low-PA (TTBR0-range) physical addresses:

1. setup_mm_for_reboot() in arch/arm/mm/idmap.c, used by the kexec
   reboot path. With TTBCR.EPD0 still set, the subsequent branch to
   the identity-mapped cpu_v7_reset causes a PrefetchAbort because the
   TTBR0 page-table walk needed to resolve the identity-mapped address
   is disabled. This manifests as a hard hang or "bad PC value" panic
   on LPAE kernels booted on CPUs that strictly enforce EPD0 for
   instruction fetch (e.g. Cortex-A53 in AArch32 mode) while the same
   image may accidentally work on Cortex-A15 due to microarchitectural
   differences in EPD0 enforcement.

2. arch_restore_image() in arch/arm/kernel/hibernate.c, which calls
   cpu_switch_mm(idmap_pgd, &amp;init_mm) directly without going through
   setup_mm_for_reboot(), leaving TTBCR.EPD0 set while the identity
   mapping is active.

Fix both sites by calling uaccess_save_and_enable() before switching
to the identity mapping, mirroring what the original commit did for
cpu_suspend().

   setup_mm_for_reboot(), leaving TTBCR.EPD0 set while the identity
   mapping is active.

Fix both sites by calling uaccess_save_and_enable() before switching
to the identity mapping, mirroring what the original commit did for
cpu_suspend().

Commit 44e9a3bb76e5 ("ARM: 9430/1: entry: Do a dummy read from
VMAP shadow") added a dummy read from the KASAN VMAP stack shadow in
__switch_to(). The read uses ldr, but the KASAN shadow address is
byte-granular and is not guaranteed to be word aligned.

ARMv5 faults unaligned word loads. With CONFIG_KASAN_VMALLOC and
CONFIG_VMAP_STACK enabled, ARM926/VersatilePB crashes in __switch_to()
with an alignment exception before reaching init.

Use ldrb for the dummy shadow access. The code only needs to fault in the
shadow mapping if the stack shadow is missing, so a byte load is sufficient
and matches the granularity of KASAN shadow memory.

Quite some architectures have four character wide acronyms for architecture
specific interrupts like IPI, NMI, etc.

The default precision of printing the Linux device interrupt numbers is
three, which causes quite some code to play games with adding or omitting
space after the acronym and the colon in order to keep the per CPU numbers
properly aligned.

Increase the default number precision to four in the core code and get rid
of the space games all over the place. At the same time align all
architecture specific descriptor texts left so that they show up in the
same column as the interrupt chip names, which makes the output more
uniform accross architectures. Fix up the GDB script to this new scheme as
well.
