New HW no longer implements a separate class for latency-sensitive QPs
and advertises this by a new cap bit.

Introduce the qp_latency_sensitive_disable capability bit to indicate
that the device no longer implements a separate class for
latency-sensitive QPs, so drivers can stop programming the
latency_sensitive QPC field and skip allocating the dedicated
fast-path bfreg on such HW.

Add NOUVEAU_FIFO_ENGINE_NVDEC to the abi16 uAPI and accept it in
channel allocation, mapping it to the NVDEC engine runlist.
Skip the Turing copy-engine workaround object for NVDEC channels: the
copy engines are not part of the NVDEC runlist, so the workaround
object cannot be instantiated on such channels (and is not needed
there).
This is required for NVK to implement Vulkan Video H.264 decode on top
of the NVDEC engine:

Unlike local reenqueues, cap rejections have no repeat limit. A
malfunctioning scheduler can keep re-inserting a task to a cid it lacks caps
on, cycling the task through reject and reenqueue. This was assumed safe
because a task that never runs trips the stall watchdog. However, the
reenqueue irq_work re-arms itself and outranks the timer vector, blocking
everything else on the CPU including stall detection and recovery, until the
NMI hardlockup detector fires.
Local reenqueues already have a repeat cap, SCX_REENQ_LOCAL_MAX_REPEAT,
which needs generalizing to cover all reenqueues. It also has an attribution
problem. Counted per-cpu on root, it tears down the whole hierarchy even
when a sub-scheduler caused the repeated reenqueues.
Generalize by bounding every reenqueue with one per-task counter. reenq_cnt
is bumped in scx_do_enqueue_task() on each SCX_ENQ_REENQ, the single path
every reenqueue producer passes through, and cleared in clr_task_runnable()
when the task is picked to run and in scx_disable_task() when it leaves the
scheduler's control. Past SCX_REENQ_MAX_REPEAT the task's owning scheduler
is ejected with a new SCX_EXIT_ERROR_REENQ and the task is left stranded to
be picked up during sched exit.
The SCX_EV_REENQ_LOCAL_REPEAT event becomes SCX_EV_REENQ_REPEAT, counting
repeat reenqueues from all sources.
v2: Count SCX_EV_REENQ_REPEAT only when a reenqueue leads to another
reenqueue, not on every reenqueue.
v3: - Also clear reenq_cnt in scx_disable_task() so that the count doesn't
carry over to the next owner across sched class switches, scheduler
replacement or sub-scheduler rehoming (Andrea Righi).
- Update the stale SCX_EV_REENQ_LOCAL_REPEAT references in sched-ext.rst

Commit fbefe22811c3 ("scsi: libsas: Don't always drain event workqueue
for HA resume") introduced sas_resume_ha_no_sync() to avoid a deadlock:
the PHYE_RESUME_TIMEOUT handler, running on the HA event workqueue,
calls sas_deform_port() -> sas_destruct_devices(), which removes SCSI
devices and waits for the host to become runtime-active. But the host
cannot resume until sas_resume_ha() -> sas_drain_work() returns, and the
drain is blocked on that very handler.
However skipping the drain reintroduces a race: hisi_sas returns from
resume before all PHY UP work and libsas discovery work finish. The
controller may then autosuspend while disks are still waking up. The
disks issue IO to a suspended controller, the IO fails, and the disks
get disabled.
Fix the deadlock at its source by moving the PHYE_RESUME_TIMEOUT
notification to after sas_drain_work(). By then the host resume is about
to complete, so device removal through device_link no longer blocks on
the resume and the cycle is broken.
With the deadlock gone, restore sas_resume_ha() (the draining variant)
in hisi_sas and remove sas_resume_ha_no_sync().
The reorder is safe for the other libsas consumers (isci, pm8001,
aic94xx, mvsas). During suspend, sas_suspend_devices() calls
sas_notify_lldd_dev_gone() for each device, which sets dev->lldd_dev to
NULL. When scsi_unblock_requests re-enables I/O in resume, any I/O to a
timed-out phy's disk is immediately rejected by the LLDD before reaching
hardware: isci returns SAS_DEVICE_UNKNOWN (mapped to DID_BAD_TARGET),
and pm8001 returns SAS_PHY_DOWN (mapped to DID_NO_CONNECT). Both
complete directly via scsi_done() without entering SCSI EH. This is
identical in both the old and new ordering since lldd_dev_gone runs
during suspend, before resume. The reorder only affects when the
PHYE_RESUME_TIMEOUT handler runs (synchronized by sas_drain_work()
vs. asynchronous after resume returns), not whether I/O can reach the
device. aic94xx and mvsas do not register any PM ops and never reach
this code path.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/vfs/vfs
Pull vfs fixes from Christian Brauner:
- vfs: Preserve the ACL_DONT_CACHE state in forget_cached_acl().
ACL_DONT_CACHE is meant to be a permanent opt-out from ACL caching
which FUSE relies on for servers that don't negotiate FUSE_POSIX_ACL.
The helper replaced it with ACL_NOT_CACHED, silently re-enabling the
cache, and as fuse doesn't invalidate the cache for such servers a
properly timed get_acl() returned stale ACLs. Comes with a fuse
selftest reproducing this.
- pidfs:
- Preserve PIDFD_THREAD when a thread pidfd is reopened via
open_by_handle_at(). PIDFD_THREAD shares the O_EXCL bit which
do_dentry_open() strips after the flags have been validated, so
the reopened pidfd silently became a process pidfd. Comes with a
selftest.
- Add a pidfs_dentry_open() helper so the regular pidfd allocation
path and the file handle path share the code that forces O_RDWR
and reapplies the pidfd flags that do_dentry_open() strips.
- Handle FS_IOC32_GETVERSION in the compat ioctl path.
- Make pidfs_ino_lock static.
- iomap:
- Fix the block range calculation in ifs_clear_range_dirty() so a
partial clear doesn't drop the dirty state of blocks the range
only partially covers.
- Support invalidating partial folios so a partial truncate or hole
punch with blocksize < foliosize doesn't leave stale dirty bits
behind.
- Only set did_zero when iomap_zero_iter() actually zeroed
something.
- Guard ifs_set_range_dirty() and ifs_set_range_uptodate() against
zero-length ranges where the unsigned last-block calculation
underflows and bitmap_set() writes far beyond the ifs->state
allocation.
- Don't merge ioends with different io_private values as the merge
could leak or corrupt the private data of the individual ioends.
- exec:
- Raise bprm->have_execfd only once the binfmt_misc interpreter has
actually been opened. The flag was set as soon as a matching 'O'
or 'C' entry was found. If the interpreter open failed with
ENOEXEC the exec fell through to the next binary format with
have_execfd raised but no executable staged and begin_new_exec()
NULL derefed past the point of no return.
- Fix an unsigned loop counter wrap in transfer_args_to_stack() on
nommu. An overlong argument or environment string pushes bprm->p
below PAGE_SIZE, the stop index becomes zero, and the loop never
terminates, wrapping its counter and copying garbage from in
front of the page array into the new process stack.
- Make binfmt_elf_fdpic only honour the first PT_INTERP like
binfmt_elf does. Each additional PT_INTERP overwrote the previous
interpreter, leaking the name allocation and the interpreter file
reference together with the write denial open_exec() took,
leaving the file unwritable for as long as the system runs.
- overlayfs:
- Compare the full escaped xattr prefix including the trailing dot.
An xattr like "trusted.overlay.overlayfoo" was misclassified as
an escaped overlay xattr.
- Check read access to the copy_file_range() source with the
source's mounter credentials.
- super: Thawing a filesystem whose block device was frozen with
bdev_freeze() deadlocked. Dropping the last block layer freeze
reference from under s_umount ends up in fs_bdev_thaw() which
reacquires s_umount on the same task. Pin the superblock with an
active reference instead and call bdev_thaw() without holding
s_umount.
- procfs: Return EACCES instead of success when the ptrace access check
for namespace links fails.
- afs: Use afs_dir_get_block() rather than afs_dir_find_block() for
block 0 in afs_edit_dir_remove(), matching afs_edit_dir_add().
- Push the memcg gating of ->nr_cached_objects() down into the btrfs
and shmem callbacks instead of skipping every callback during
non-root memcg reclaim. The blanket check short-circuited XFS whose
inode reclaim hook is intentionally driven from per-memcg contexts to
free memcg-charged slab.
- eventpoll: Pin files while checking reverse paths.
Since struct file became SLAB_TYPESAFE_BY_RCU a concurrent close
could free and recycle the file under the check which then took and
dropped the f_lock of whatever live file now occupies that slot.

iopf_group_alloc() links each last-page IOPF group into the generic IOPF
pending list before invoking the domain fault handler.
iommufd_fault_iopf_handler() also queued an accepted group in the
IOMMUFD deliver list without removing it from the generic pending list.
When detach or HWPT replacement drops the device's IOPF reference count
to zero, an IOMMU driver may call iopf_queue_remove_device(). That
function responds to and frees groups through the generic pending list
without removing the same groups from IOMMUFD's deliver list or response
xarray. A later read, response, or cleanup can then access the freed
group and cause a UAF.
Fix this by dequeuing an accepted group from the generic pending list
before IOMMUFD queues it for userspace response.
Make iopf_group_response() send a response regardless of pending-list
membership, so the dequeued group can still be completed by IOMMUFD.

LUO keeps track of successful retrieve attempts on an FLB. It does so
to avoid multiple retrievals of the same FLB. Multiple retrievals cause
problems because once the FLB is retrieved, the serialized data
structures are likely freed and the FLB is likely in a very different
state from what the code expects.
All this works well when retrieve succeeds. When it fails,
luo_flb_retrieve_one() returns the error immediately, without ever
storing anywhere that a retrieve was attempted or what its error code
was. If the user attempts to retrieve another file registered with the
same FLB, LUO will attempt to call the FLB's retrieve() callback again.
The retry is problematic for much of the same reasons listed above. The
FLB is likely in a very different state than what the retrieve logic
normally expects (e.g. some KHO pages may have already been restored and
freed).
There is no sane way of attempting the retrieve again. Remember the
error retrieve returned and directly return it on a retry.
This is done by changing the retrieved bool to a retrieve_status
integer. A value of 0 means retrieve was never attempted, a positive
value means it succeeded, and a negative value means it failed and the
error code is the value.
This is similar to commit f85b1c6af5bc ("liveupdate: luo_file: remember
retrieve() status") which did the same for LUO files.

Increment the outgoing FLB refcount in liveupdate_flb_get_outgoing() so
that the FLB structure cannot be freed while the caller is actively
using it. Add an additional liveupdate_flb_put_outgoing() function so
the caller can explicitly indicate when it is done using the outgoing
FLB.
During a Live Update, the kernel may need to fetch the outgoing FLB
outside of the scope of a file handler's preserve() and unpreserve()
callbacks. In that situation there is no way for the caller to protect
itself against the outgoing FLB from being freed while it is using it.
Incrementing the reference count in liveupdate_flb_get_outgoing()
ensures it cannot be freed.
This change also aligns the outgoing FLB lifecycle management with the
incoming FLB, since the latter uses the same get/put semantics.

Netfilter/IPVS fixes for net
The following batch contains Netfilter/IPVS fixes for net. This batch
includes a mix of IPVS follow ups related to Sashiko reports, as well as
crash fixes for connection tracking expectation, helpers, ipset and
nf_tables mostly for old bugs. This also includes a fix for the
flowtable tunnel selftest.
1) Use s32 instead of s16 to calculate the remaining payload containing
SIP messages, otherwise underflow is possible allowing out-of-bound
memory access beyond the skb->data area. From Xiang Mei.
2) Fix the counter check in the flowtable selftest for tunnels, from
Lorenzo Bianconi.
3) Add and use nf_ct_expect_related_pair() to add the RTP and RTCP
expectations under the expectation lock, this is required by the SIP
and H.323 NAT helpers. This fixes a possible reinsertion of an
expectation with the DEAD flag set on while looping to find
consecutive ports.
4) Fix ipset UaF during table resize by blocking comment updates on
kernel-side adds. From David Lee.
5) Do not propagate the IP_VS_CONN_F_ONE_PACKET flag when using IPVS
state synchronization, otherwise reaching stale freed from
ip_vs_conn struct is possible, Zhiling Zou.
6) Adjust the hn1 hash node when the forwarding method changes between
MASQ and non-MASQ for an already hashed connection. This can leave
stale hash nodes pointing to a freed struct ip_vs_conn and trigger
UaF while reading /proc/net/ip_vs_conn. From Julian Anastasov.
7) nft_object rhltable needs to be per table, just like chain rhltable,
otherwise UaF from object lookup path while netns is being released.
There is also the nlevent path that can reach stale objects. Placing
this rhltable under the table hierarchy fixes this issue.
8) Reject invalid combined usage of hashlimit tables with and without
XT_HASHLIMIT_RATE_MATCH flag mode, otherwise access to uninitialized
.burst field of dsthash_ent is possible.
9) Fix checksum validations in IPVS performed from LOCAL_IN,
from Julian Anastasov.
10) Fix incorrect packet offset to layer 4 protocol in IPVS, uncovered
by Sashiko, from Julian Anastasov.
11) Skip the mangling of ICMP replies for non-first fragments, also
reported by Sashiko. Also from Julian.
12) Clear ip_vs_conn flags under the spinlock to fix a possible data
race. From Julian Anastasov.
13) Fix incorrect calculation of the payload bitmask in the nf_tables
hardware offload support, leading to UBSAN splat. From Xiang Mei.

rcu_read_unlock_trace()
< ... var decls only ... >
scp = t->trc_reader_scp;
This constitutes a data race between these two accesses to
t->trc_reader_scp. If rcu_read_lock_trace() were to tear its store,
this value would be corrupted.
This commit therefore defers the rcu_read_lock_untrace() function's
load from t->trc_reader_scp until after it has verified that this is
the outermost rcu_read_unlock_trace(). With this change, the interrupt
handler increments and decrements t->trc_reader_nesting and does not
access t->trc_reader_scp, thus avoiding the data race.

Update documentation comments throughout the RCU callback infrastructure
to reflect the transition from a single grace-period sequence number to
the full struct rcu_gp_seq that tracks both normal and expedited grace
periods.
The ->gp_seq[] array documentation in rcu_segcblist.h is updated to
describe dual (normal and expedited) GP tracking. The
rcu_segcblist_advance(), rcu_segcblist_accelerate(), and
rcu_advance_cbs() comments are updated to refer to the struct rcu_gp_seq
state (gsp) instead of the old bare grace-period sequence number (seq).

The zero-copy Tx batch parser stops when it encounters an invalid
descriptor. If this happens after one or more continuation descriptors,
the Tx consumer can be advanced past fragments that are neither submitted
to the driver nor returned to userspace through the completion ring.
A similar problem occurs when a packet exceeds xdp_zc_max_segs. The
descriptors consumed up to the limit are released without completion, and
the remaining continuation descriptors can subsequently be interpreted
as the beginning of another packet.
Parse Tx batches in packet units and distinguish descriptors belonging to
complete valid packets from descriptors consumed while draining an
invalid or oversized packet. Return the former to the driver and append
the latter to the CQ address area so userspace can reclaim their UMEM
frames.
Treat a standalone invalid descriptor as a one-descriptor reclaim-only
packet. Advancing the Tx-ring consumer releases the ring slot, but does
not by itself return ownership of the referenced UMEM frame to userspace.
Once draining starts, continue until the packet's end-of-packet
descriptor is consumed. Preserve the drain state on the socket when EOP
has not yet been supplied, so draining can continue during a later call.
Leave incomplete but otherwise valid packets on the Tx ring.
Shared-UMEM pools using multi-buffer Tx also need packet-framed parsing.
Walk their Tx sockets one packet at a time, preserving the existing
per-socket fairness scheme, instead of using the legacy one-descriptor
fallback. Keep that fallback for shared pools that do not use
multi-buffer Tx. Since the drain state is maintained per socket and both
the singular and shared paths can resume an interrupted drain, changing
the socket list from singular to shared requires no special bind-time
transition.
CQ entries are positional, and drivers may complete only part of the Tx
work returned by xsk_tx_peek_release_desc_batch(). Therefore, reclaim-only
entries cannot be published immediately when earlier driver-visible
descriptors are still outstanding.
Track the number of driver-visible CQ entries preceding the reclaim
entries. Let xsk_tx_completed() publish partial hardware Tx completions,
and publish the reclaim entries only after every earlier Tx descriptor
has completed. Complete a reclaim-only batch immediately when there is no
driver-visible work in front of it, and prevent another Tx batch from
being appended while reclaim entries remain pending.
Also cap batch processing by the size of the pool's temporary descriptor
array, as Tx rings belonging to sockets sharing a UMEM may have different
sizes.
This ensures that every invalid Tx descriptor consumed by the ZC batch
path is either submitted to the driver as part of a valid packet or
returned to userspace without violating CQ completion ordering.

The temporary Tx descriptor array in an XSK buffer pool is currently
sized from the Tx ring of the socket that creates the pool.
This is insufficient for shared-UMEM Tx. A later socket may have a
larger Tx ring and submit a valid multi-buffer packet containing more
descriptors than the first socket's ring, while still remaining within
the device's xdp_zc_max_segs limit.
A packet-framed batch parser bounded by the temporary array cannot reach
the end-of-packet descriptor in that case. It leaves the packet on the
Tx ring and encounters the same packet on every subsequent attempt,
stalling Tx processing for that socket.
Size the temporary descriptor array to the larger of the first Tx ring
and the device's xdp_zc_max_segs capability. This keeps the array large
enough to inspect one maximum-sized valid packet. Larger shared Tx rings
do not require further resizing, as they can be processed over multiple
batches.
Following commit will actually address the data path side.

Fix generic xmit path multi-buffer logic when packets are either too big
(count of descriptors exceed MAX_SKB_FRAGS) or an invalid descriptor is
included in fragmented packet. Introduce xdp_sock::drain_cont and act
upon this flag - when it is set, keep on consuming descriptors from
AF_XDP Tx ring and put them directly onto Cq. Previously these
descriptors were silently lost and could never be reached again.

On recent MediaTek SoCs such as MT6858, the kernel is required to use
a secure monitor call (SMC) to enable or disable the modem power domain.
The power domain control register can be read, but firmware prevents it
from being modified directly. Some other parts of the power sequence,
such as setting the ext_buck_iso register, still need to be performed on
the kernel side.
In preparation for modem support, add a flag to enable this new power
sequence for SoCs that need it. Power domains using this flag are not
expected to configure any bus protection registers, since these are
handled internally by the SMC call.

Period measurement can be difficult when using high sampling
frequency where the jitter criteria is hard to meet because of the
system jitter.
This new version is using the delta time between 2 distant interrupts
to measure an interval of at least 20ms. 20ms is a good compromise
between the mitigation of system jitter and the delay to update
period. This way we decorrelate the period measurement from the
interrupt timestamps syncing using only the 2 last interrupts.

Every resctrl resource has a unique ID described by enum resctrl_res_level.
enum resctrl_res_level is used in all resource ID initializations and all
resource ID comparisons. All functions consuming the resource ID expects an
enum resctrl_res_level. Of the four structures that contain a resource ID
(struct mon_data, struct mon_evt, struct rdt_domain_hdr, and struct
rdt_resource) only struct rdt_resource does not use enum resctrl_res_level.
Switch the type of rdt_resource::rid to be enum resctrl_res_level to make
it obvious what values are valid, match the type everywhere this member is
used, and obtain benefits from tools that can flag any enum misuse.
Move define of RDT_NUM_RESOURCES outside the enum to enable tools to catch
when a switch() on the resource ID does not handle all the resources and
thus help flag which switch statements need an update when a new resource

Before XO refclk is distributed to PCIe/USB/eDP PHYs, it passes through
a QREF block. QREF is powered by dedicated LDO rails, and the clkref_en
register controls whether refclk is gated through to the PHY side.
These clkref controls are different from typical GCC branch clocks:
- only a single enable bit is present, without branch-style config bits
- regulators must be voted before enable and unvoted after disable
Model this as a dedicated clk_ref clock type with custom clk_ops instead
of reusing struct clk_branch semantics.
Also provide a common registration/probe API so the same clkref model
can be reused regardless of where clkref_en registers are placed, e.g.
TCSR on glymur and TLMM on SM8750.
