The NFC Controller Interface (NCI) is a standard
communication protocol between an NFC Controller (NFCC)
and a Device Host (DH), defined by the NFC Forum.

The NFC subsystem core is responsible for providing the device driver
interface. It is also responsible for providing an interface to the control
operations and data exchange.
