commit 95fc02722edde02946d0d475221f2b2054d3d8ba upstream.

If kmemdup() fails while copying supported band structures, the error
path jumps to fail_rate. This skips rate_control_deinitialize() and
leaks the initialized local-&gt;rate_ctrl.

Fix this by adding a fail_band label that shares the rate-control cleanup
path before falling through to the remaining teardown.

The bug was first flagged by an experimental analysis tool we are
developing for kernel memory-management bugs while analyzing
v6.13-rc1. The tool is still under development and is not yet publicly
available. Manual inspection confirms that the bug is still present in
v7.1-rc7.

An x86_64 allyesconfig build showed no new warnings. As we do not have a
suitable mac80211 device/driver combination to test with, no runtime
testing was able to be performed.

<title>wifi: mac80211: run NAN DE code only when appropriate</title>

NAN DE (Discovery Engine) may be handled in the device or in user space.
When handled in user space, all the NAN func management code should not
run. Moreover, devices with user space DE should not provide the
add/del_nan_func callbaks. For such devices, ieee80211_reconfig_nan will
always fail.

Make it clear what parts of ieee80211_if_nan are relevant to DE
management, and touch those only when DE is offloaded.

Add a check that makes sure that a driver doesn't register with
add_del/nan_func callbacks if DE is in user space.

<title>wifi: mac80211: don't use cfg80211_chandef_create() for default chandef</title>

cfg80211_chandef_create() is called universally to create the
default chandef during hw registration, however it only really
makes sense to be used for 2GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz (and by extension
the 'LC' band) as it relies on the channel type which is only
relevant to those specific bands.

To reduce some confusion, create a generic helper for creating the
default chandef that makes sense for all supported bands.

Advertise support for IEEE 802.1X authentication protocol directly from
mac80211, without depending on driver indication of (Re)Association
frame encryption capability.

As specified in "IEEE P802.11bi/D4.0, clauses 12.16.5 and 12.16.8.2",
IEEE 802.1X authentication can operate with or without (Re)Association
frame encryption support. Therefore, mac80211 can safely advertise
802.1X support independently of driver capabilities.

<title>treewide: Replace kmalloc with kmalloc_obj for non-scalar types</title>

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

Verify that only one of the permitted change flags is set when changing
the link of a monitor interface. Before the WARN_ON_ONCE would accept
anything if mu_mimo_owner was set.

Also, split out the mu_mimo_owner flag and enable it for all interface
types. The option is set during association when VHT is available and it
is not expected that any configuration of the MU groups is done without
it being set.

When moving to the APs channel, ensure we correctly initialise the chandef
and perform the required validation. Additionally, if the AP is beaconing on a
2MHz primary, calculate the 2MHz primary center frequency by extracting
the sibling 1MHz primary and averaging the frequencies to find the 2MHz
primary center frequency.
