param_set_charp() stores charp parameters in allocated memory after slab is
available, and releases the previous value when the parameter is updated.

The previous value is released before the replacement allocation succeeds.
If kmalloc_parameter() fails, the setter returns -ENOMEM with the parameter
left as NULL.

Failing zswap's compressor update before zswap is initialized can later
trigger:

When setting a charp module parameter, the param_set_charp() function
allocates memory to store a copy of the input value. Later, when the module
is potentially unloaded, the destroy_params() function is called to free
this allocated memory.

However, destroy_params() is available only when CONFIG_SYSFS=y, otherwise
only a dummy variant is present. In the unlikely case that the kernel is
configured with CONFIG_MODULES=y and CONFIG_SYSFS=n, this results in
a memory leak of charp values when a module is unloaded.

Fix this issue by making destroy_params() always available when
CONFIG_MODULES=y. Rename the function to module_destroy_params() to clarify
that it is intended for use by the module loader.

strcpy() is deprecated; use strscpy() and memcpy() instead.

In param_set_copystring(), we can safely use memcpy() because we already
know the length of the source string 'val' and that it is guaranteed to
be NUL-terminated within the first 'kps-&gt;maxlen' bytes.

In 'lookup_or_create_module_kobject()', an internal kobject is created
using 'module_ktype'. So call to 'kobject_put()' on error handling
path causes an attempt to use an uninitialized completion pointer in
'module_kobject_release()'. In this scenario, we just want to release
kobject without an extra synchronization required for a regular module
unloading process, so adding an extra check whether 'complete()' is
actually required makes 'kobject_put()' safe.

In the unlikely event of the allocation failing, it is better to let
the machine boot with a not fully populated sysfs than to kill it with
this BUG_ON(). All callers are already prepared for
lookup_or_create_module_kobject() returning NULL.

This is also preparation for calling this function from non __init
code, where using BUG_ON for allocation failure handling is not
acceptable.

Since we are here, also start using IS_ENABLED instead of #ifdef
construct.

Add the __counted_by compiler attribute to the flexible array member
attrs to improve access bounds-checking via CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS and
CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE.

Increment num before adding a new param_attribute to the attrs array and
adjust the array index accordingly. Increment num immediately after the
first reallocation such that the reallocation for the NULL terminator
only needs to add 1 (instead of 2) to mk-&gt;mp-&gt;num.

Use struct_size() instead of manually calculating the size for the
reallocation.

Use krealloc_array() for the additional NULL terminator.

This makes the API clearer and also prepares for the constification of

These structs are never modified, move them to read-only memory.
This makes the API clearer and also prepares for the constification of
'struct attribute' itself.

While at it, also constify 'modinfo_attrs_count'.
