Pull ARM SoC platform updates from Arnd Bergmann:
"The 32-bit Arm platforms are a bit more interesting this time: I
refreshed an earlier series to mark code as deprecated that does have
the tendency of getting in the way of cleanups and new features but
has close to zero users. Among these are:

   - 22 of the remaining 28 legacy board files that predate the current
devicetree based descriptions, using old chips from Intel and
Marvell. The remaining six board files are for TI OMAP1 and Samsung
s3c64xx chips and all still have known users.

   - support for Cortex-M3/M4/M7 and ARM1136r0 CPU cores and the 25
machines based on these. These all use devicetree but the CPU
support causes disproportional work. Most of them are just
reference boards, the notable exceptions being the Nokia N800/N810
tablet and the Buglabs BUG platform.

   - be8, be32, oabi and iwmmxt userspace binaries, which were mostly
associated with the platforms now scheduled for removal and are
increasingly problematic to support with modern toolchains.

Nothing is actually removed at this point, to ensure that any
remaining users continue to have the 7.3-LTS for a while longer.
Patches for removal are currently being tested.

Other updates include a continued work to convert GPIO number based
interfaces to descriptors, a patch to restore little-endian mode on
the one Arm platform (ixp4xx) that only worked in big-endian mode
recently, and some minor cleanups and bugfixes"

<title>ARM: tegra: Replace __ASSEMBLY__ with __ASSEMBLER__</title>

While the GCC and Clang compilers already define __ASSEMBLER__
automatically when compiling assembly code, __ASSEMBLY__ is a
macro that only gets defined by the Makefiles in the kernel.
This can be very confusing when switching between userspace
and kernelspace coding, or when dealing with uapi headers that
rather should use __ASSEMBLER__ instead. So let's standardize now
on the __ASSEMBLER__ macro that is provided by the compilers.

This is a completely mechanical patch (done with a simple "sed -i"
statement).

When build testing on ARM without the PMC driver, the other drivers
fail to link:

ld.lld: error: undefined symbol: tegra_pmc_core_domain_state_synced
&gt;&gt;&gt; referenced by regulators-tegra30.c
&gt;&gt;&gt; drivers/soc/tegra/regulators-tegra30.o:(tegra30_regulator_balance_voltage) in archive vmlinux.a

Adapt the checks in the header to cover both cases on other architectures
and without PMC.

None of this legacy code is needed on 64-bit ARM devices, so it can be

tegra186_mc_resume() is the only implementation of the SoC -&gt;resume()
op in struct tegra_mc_ops, and it can never fail as the SID override
loop has no error path. The int return value is therefore not used.

Change the prototype to return void so callers do not need to deal
with a value that is always 0. If a future SoC needs to report
failure from resume, an int return type can be reintroduced then.

firmware: tegra: Changes for v7.1-rc1

This introduces a new API for the BPMP to be pass along a specifier from
DT when getting a reference from a phandle. This is used to reference
specific instances of the PCI controller on Tegra264. The ABI header for
BPMP is updated to the latest version and BPMP APIs now use the more
intuitive ENODEV instead of the non SUSV4 ENOTSUPP error code for stub
implementations.

specific instances of the PCI controller on Tegra264. The ABI header for
BPMP is updated to the latest version and BPMP APIs now use the more
intuitive ENODEV instead of the non SUSV4 ENOTSUPP error code for stub
implementations.

ENOTSUPP is not a SUSV4 error code and checkpatch will warn about it.
It is also not very descriptive in the context of BPMP, so use the
ENODEV error code instead. For the stub implementations this is a more
accurate description of what the failure is.
