commit 6fe4e4b8259e1330945b5f3c9476e08473b8e0e8 upstream.

When a blk_crypto_key starts being used or is evicted, fs/crypto/ calls
fscrypt_get_devices() to get the filesystem's list of block devices,
then iterates over them and calls blk_crypto_config_supported(),
blk_crypto_start_using_key(), or blk_crypto_evict_key() on each one.

Currently, the block device pointers are placed in a dynamically
allocated array. This dynamic allocation is problematic because:

- It can fail, especially at the fscrypt_destroy_inline_crypt_key() call
site when it's invoked for inode eviction under direct reclaim.

- fscrypt_destroy_inline_crypt_key() doesn't handle the failure.  It
just zeroizes and frees the blk_crypto_key without calling
  blk_crypto_evict_key().  That causes a use-after-free.

For now, let's fix this in the straightforward and easily-backportable
way by switching to an on-stack array. Currently the fscrypt
multi-device functionality is used only by f2fs, which has a hardcoded
limit of 8 block devices. An on-stack array works fine for that.

(Of course, this solution won't scale up to large number of block
devices. For that we'd need a different solution, like moving the block
device iteration into the filesystem. Or in the case of btrfs, which
will only support blk-crypto-fallback, we should make it just call
blk-crypto-fallback directly, so the block devices won't be needed.)

<title>fs: remove inode::i_crypt_info</title>

Now that all fscrypt-capable filesystems store the pointer to
fscrypt_inode_info in the filesystem-specific part of the inode
structure, inode::i_crypt_info is no longer needed. Update
fscrypt_inode_info_addr() to no longer support the fallback to
inode::i_crypt_info. Finally, remove inode::i_crypt_info itself along
with the now-unnecessary forward declaration of fscrypt_inode_info.

The end result of the migration to the filesystem-specific pointer is
memory savings on CONFIG_FS_ENCRYPTION=y kernels for all filesystems
that don't support fscrypt. Specifically, their in-memory inodes are
now smaller by the size of a pointer: either 4 or 8 bytes.

<title>fscrypt: add support for info in fs-specific part of inode</title>

Add an inode_info_offs field to struct fscrypt_operations, and update
fs/crypto/ to support it. When set to a nonzero value, it specifies the
offset to the fscrypt_inode_info pointer within the filesystem-specific
part of the inode structure, to be used instead of inode::i_crypt_info.

Since this makes inode::i_crypt_info no longer necessarily used, update
comments that mentioned it.

This is a prerequisite for a later commit that removes
inode::i_crypt_info, saving memory and improving cache efficiency with
filesystems that don't support fscrypt.

Add and use a helper function fscrypt_get_inode_info_raw(). It loads an
inode's fscrypt info pointer using a raw dereference, which is
appropriate when the caller knows the key setup already happened.

This eliminates most occurrences of inode::i_crypt_info in the source,
in preparation for replacing that with a filesystem-specific field.

Pull f2fs updates from Jaegeuk Kim:
"Three main updates: folio conversion by Matthew, switch to a new mount
API by Hongbo and Eric, and several sysfs entries to tune GCs for ZUFS
  with finer granularity by Daeho.

There are also patches to address bugs and issues in the existing
features such as GCs, file pinning, write-while-dio-read, contingous
block allocation, and memory access violations.

  Enhancements:
   - switch to new mount API and folio conversion
   - add sysfs nodes to controle F2FS GCs for ZUFS
   - improve performance on the nat entry cache
   - drop inode from the donation list when the last file is closed
   - avoid splitting bio when reading multiple pages

  Bug fixes:
   - fix to trigger foreground gc during f2fs_map_blocks() in lfs mode
   - make sure zoned device GC to use FG_GC in shortage of free section
   - fix to calculate dirty data during has_not_enough_free_secs()
   - fix to update upper_p in __get_secs_required() correctly
   - wait for inflight dio completion, excluding pinned files read using dio
   - don't break allocation when crossing contiguous sections
   - vm_unmap_ram() may be called from an invalid context
   - fix to avoid out-of-boundary access in dnode page
   - fix to avoid panic in f2fs_evict_inode
   - fix to avoid UAF in f2fs_sync_inode_meta()
   - fix to use f2fs_is_valid_blkaddr_raw() in do_write_page()
   - fix UAF of f2fs_inode_info in f2fs_free_dic
   - fix to avoid invalid wait context issue
   - fix bio memleak when committing super block
   - handle nat.blkaddr corruption in f2fs_get_node_info()

In addition, there are also clean-ups and minor bug fixes"

-&gt;d_revalidate() often needs to access dentry parent and name; that has
to be done carefully, since the locking environment varies from caller
to caller. We are not guaranteed that dentry in question will not be
moved right under us - not unless the filesystem is such that nothing
on it ever gets renamed.

It can be dealt with, but that results in boilerplate code that isn't
even needed - the callers normally have just found the dentry via dcache
lookup and want to verify that it's in the right place; they already
have the values of -&gt;d_parent and -&gt;d_name stable. There is a couple
of exceptions (overlayfs and, to less extent, ecryptfs), but for the
majority of calls that song and dance is not needed at all.

It's easier to make ecryptfs and overlayfs find and pass those values if
there's a -&gt;d_revalidate() instance to be called, rather than doing that
in the instances.

This commit only changes the calling conventions; making use of supplied
values is left to followups.

NOTE: some instances need more than just the parent - things like CIFS
may need to build an entire path from filesystem root, so they need
more precautions than the usual boilerplate. This series doesn't
do anything to that need - these filesystems have to keep their locking
mechanisms (rename_lock loops, use of dentry_path_raw(), private rwsem
a-la v9fs).

One thing to keep in mind when using name is that name-&gt;name will normally
point into the pathname being resolved; the filename in question occupies
name-&gt;len bytes starting at name-&gt;name, and there is NUL somewhere after it,
but it the next byte might very well be '/' rather than '\0'. Do not
ignore name-&gt;len.

<title>fscrypt: Drop d_revalidate once the key is added</title>

When a key is added, existing directory dentries in the
DCACHE_NOKEY_NAME form are moved by the VFS to the plaintext version.
But, since they have the DCACHE_OP_REVALIDATE flag set, revalidation
will be done at each lookup only to return immediately, since plaintext
dentries can't go stale until eviction. This patch optimizes this case,
by dropping the flag once the nokey_name dentry becomes plain-text.
Note that non-directory dentries are not moved this way, so they won't
be affected.

Of course, this can only be done if fscrypt is the only thing requiring
revalidation for a dentry. For this reason, we only disable
d_revalidate if the .d_revalidate hook is fscrypt_d_revalidate itself.

It is safe to do it here because when moving the dentry to the
plain-text version, we are holding the d_lock. We might race with a
concurrent RCU lookup but this is harmless because, at worst, we will
get an extra d_revalidate on the keyed dentry, which will still find the
dentry to be valid.

Finally, now that we do more than just clear the DCACHE_NOKEY_NAME in
fscrypt_handle_d_move, skip it entirely for plaintext dentries, to avoid
extra costs.
