[ Upstream commit 6650527444dadc63d84aa939d14ecba4fadb2f69 ]

Fix the easy cases where procfs currently calls ptrace_may_access() without
exec_update_lock protection, where the fix is to simply add the extra lock
or use mm_access():

 - do_task_stat(): grab exec_update_lock
 - proc_pid_wchan(): grab exec_update_lock
 - proc_map_files_lookup(): use mm_access() instead of get_task_mm()
 - proc_map_files_readdir(): use mm_access() instead of get_task_mm()
 - proc_ns_get_link(): grab exec_update_lock
 - proc_ns_readlink(): grab exec_update_lock

[ Upstream commit 6255da28d4bb5349fe18e84cb043ccd394eba75d ]

proc_pid_get_link() and proc_pid_readlink() currently look up the task from
the pid once, then do the ptrace access check on that task, then look up
the task from the pid a second time to do the actual access.
That's racy in several ways.

To fix it, pass the task to the -&gt;proc_get_link() handler, and instead of
proc_fd_access_allowed(), introduce a new helper call_proc_get_link() that
looks up and locks the task, does the access check, and calls
-&gt;proc_get_link().

What is currently proc_setattr is a special version added after the more
general procfs -&gt;seattr in commit 6d76fa58b050 ("Don't allow chmod() on
the /proc/&lt;pid&gt;/ files"). Give it a name that reflects that to free the
proc_setattr name and better describe what is doing.

As part of the effort to move to mm-&gt;flags becoming a bitmap field,
convert existing users to making use of the mm_flags_*() accessors which
will, when the conversion is complete, be the only means of accessing
mm_struct flags.

No functional change intended.

As part of the effort to move to mm-&gt;flags becoming a bitmap field,
convert existing users to making use of the mm_flags_*() accessors which
will, when the conversion is complete, be the only means of accessing
mm_struct flags.

No functional change intended.

<title>mm: update coredump logic to correctly use bitmap mm flags</title>

The coredump logic is slightly different from other users in that it both
stores mm flags and additionally sets and gets using masks.

Since the MMF_DUMPABLE_* flags must remain as they are for uABI reasons,
and of course these are within the first 32-bits of the flags, it is
reasonable to provide access to these in the same fashion so this logic
can all still keep working as it has been.

Therefore, introduce coredump-specific helpers __mm_flags_get_dumpable()
and __mm_flags_set_mask_dumpable() for this purpose, and update all core
dump users of mm flags to use these.

In preparation for adding Clang sanitizer coverage stack depth tracking
that can support stack depth callbacks:

- Add the new top-level CONFIG_KSTACK_ERASE option which will be
  implemented either with the stackleak GCC plugin, or with the Clang
  stack depth callback support.
- Rename CONFIG_GCC_PLUGIN_STACKLEAK as needed to CONFIG_KSTACK_ERASE,
  but keep it for anything specific to the GCC plugin itself.
- Rename all exposed "STACKLEAK" names and files to "KSTACK_ERASE" (named
  for what it does rather than what it protects against), but leave as
  many of the internals alone as possible to avoid even more churn.

While here, also split "prev_lowest_stack" into CONFIG_KSTACK_ERASE_METRICS,
since that's the only place it is referenced from.
