commit e705f4b8aa27a59f8933e8f384e9752f052c469c upstream.

Check err when partial == NULL is meaningless because
partial == NULL means getting branch successfully without
error.

commit 5aa1437d2d9a068c0334bd7c9dafa8ec4f97f13b upstream.

open file, unlink it, then use ioctl(2) to make it immutable or
append only. Now close it and watch the blocks *not* freed...

Immutable/append-only checks belong in -&gt;setattr().
Note: the bug is old and backport to anything prior to 737f2e93b972
("ext2: convert to use the new truncate convention") will need
these checks lifted into ext2_setattr().

commit 31051c85b5e2aaaf6315f74c72a732673632a905 upstream.

inode_change_ok() will be resposible for clearing capabilities and IMA
extended attributes and as such will need dentry. Give it as an argument
to inode_change_ok() instead of an inode. Also rename inode_change_ok()
to setattr_prepare() to better relect that it does also some
modifications in addition to checks.

This reverts commit be9df699432235753c3824b0f5a27d46de7fdc9e, which was
commit 31051c85b5e2aaaf6315f74c72a732673632a905 upstream.  The backport
breaks fuse and makes a mess of xfs, which can be improved by picking
further upstream commits as I should have done in the first place.

<title>mm + fs: store shadow entries in page cache</title>

Reclaim will be leaving shadow entries in the page cache radix tree upon
evicting the real page. As those pages are found from the LRU, an
iput() can lead to the inode being freed concurrently. At this point,
reclaim must no longer install shadow pages because the inode freeing
code needs to ensure the page tree is really empty.

Add an address_space flag, AS_EXITING, that the inode freeing code sets
under the tree lock before doing the final truncate. Reclaim will check
for this flag before installing shadow pages.
