commit eff8013c5a8916613c742ae5a2cc341cb605c0ae upstream.

ceph_get_name() copies the MDS-supplied name into the caller's
NAME_MAX-sized buffer with memcpy(name, rinfo->dname, rinfo->dname_len)
and then writes name[rinfo->dname_len] = 0, without checking dname_len
against NAME_MAX. A malicious or buggy MDS that returns a LOOKUPNAME reply
with dname_len > NAME_MAX overflows the buffer. __get_snap_name() copies
rde->name / rde->name_len the same unchecked way.

Impact: a malicious or compromised Ceph MDS overflows the NAME_MAX name
buffer in a client's NFS-export get_name path, a slab out-of-bounds write
reported by KASAN. Reachable when a CephFS mount is re-exported over NFS.

Add ceph_export_copy_name(), which rejects lengths above NAME_MAX with
-ENAMETOOLONG before the copy, and use it in both ceph_get_name() and
__get_snap_name().

The ceph/export.c contains very confusing logic of file handle size
calculation based on hardcoded values. This patch makes the cleanup of
this logic by means of introduction the named constants.

strcpy() performs no bounds checking on the destination buffer. This
could result in linear overflows beyond the end of the buffer, leading
to all kinds of misbehaviors [1].

This fixes checkpatch warning:

asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h;
might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include

Multiple CephFS mounts on a host is increasingly common so
disambiguating messages like this is necessary and will make it easier
to debug issues.

At the same this will improve the debug logs to make them easier to
troubleshooting issues, such as print the ino# instead only printing
the memory addresses of the corresponding inodes and print the dentry
names instead of the corresponding memory addresses for the dentry,etc.

When unlinking a file the kclient will send a unlink request to MDS
by holding the dentry reference, and then the MDS will return 2 replies,
which are unsafe reply and a deferred safe reply.

After the unsafe reply received the kernel will return and succeed
the unlink request to user space apps.

Only when the safe reply received the dentry's reference will be
released. Or the dentry will only be unhashed from dcache. But when
the open_by_handle_at() begins to open the unlinked files it will
succeed.

The inode->i_count couldn't be used to check whether the inode is
opened or not.
