<title>uio: fsl_elbc_gpcm: use platform helpers for resource and IRQ</title>

Replace the open-coded of_address_to_resource() in get_of_data() and the
later ioremap() of the memory region with a single
devm_platform_get_and_ioremap_resource() call in probe(). This requests
the region and maps it once, instead of mapping it without a region
request, and removes the redundant second ioremap.

Similarly replace irq_of_parse_and_map() with platform_get_irq(), which
returns a negative errno on failure (including -EPROBE_DEFER) instead of
0.

Both substitutions are equivalent for a DT-backed platform device. The
remaining OF accessors are now covered by linux/of.h, so the unused
linux/of_address.h and linux/of_irq.h includes are dropped.

No functional change; the GPCM window is not claimed by any other driver
(fsl_lbc only of_iomap()s its own registers, and sibling eLBC-window
drivers use distinct windows), so the new region request cannot conflict.

Built for powerpc (allmodconfig + CONFIG_UIO_FSL_ELBC_GPCM) with LLVM=1;
drivers/uio/uio_fsl_elbc_gpcm.o compiles cleanly.

The driver has a match table for the pci bus wired into its driver
structure, but the table is not exported with MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE().

Add the missing MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() entry so module alias information
is generated for automatic module loading.

This is a source-level fix.  It does not claim dynamic hardware
reproduction; the evidence is the driver-owned match table, its use by
the driver registration structure, and the missing module alias
publication.

<title>uio: Fix stale info pointer in failed registration path</title>

After device_add(), the UIO device is visible to userspace and /dev/uioX
can be opened. If a later setup step fails, __uio_register_device()
unwinds the device but leaves idev-&gt;info pointing at the caller-owned
struct uio_info.

That is unsafe when an opener races with the failed registration path.
The open file keeps a reference to the uio_device, while the caller sees
registration failure and may free its struct uio_info. Later file
operations can then follow idev-&gt;info and dereference freed memory.

Handle post-device_add() failures like unregister: remove UIO attributes
while the info pointer is still valid, then clear idev-&gt;info under
info_lock and wake existing waiters/async users before removing the
device and minor. This makes already-open file descriptors observe the
same "device gone" state as normal uio_unregister_device().

The Hyper-V kernel-mode fcopy driver was removed in 6.10 and the new
fcopy daemon requires this uio driver to function.  However, by
default the driver does not bind to any devices, and must be
configured through the sysfs "new_id" file.

Since the FCopy device is now only usable through this driver, add its
ID to the driver's ID table so that the daemon will work "out of the
box".

uio_pci_sva allocates struct uio_pci_sva_dev with devm_kzalloc() in
probe(), but then calls kfree(udev) both on the probe() error path
(label out_free) and again in remove().

Because devm_kzalloc() allocations are devres-managed and are freed
automatically when the device is detached (including after a failing
probe() and during driver unbind), the explicit kfree() can lead to a
double free.

If probe() fails after devm_kzalloc(), the error path frees udev and
devres cleanup will free it again when the core unwinds the partially
bound device. On normal driver removal, remove() frees udev and devres
will free it again when the device is detached.

This issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and
confirmed by manual review. Fix by removing the manual kfree() calls
and dropping the now-unused label.

The f_op-&gt;mmap interface is deprecated, so update uio_info to use its
successor, mmap_prepare.

Therefore, replace the uio_info-&gt;mmap hook with a new
uio_info-&gt;mmap_prepare hook, and update its one user, target_core_user,
to both specify this new mmap_prepare hook and also to use the new
vm_ops-&gt;mapped() hook to continue to maintain a correct udev-&gt;kref
refcount.

Then update uio_mmap() to utilise the mmap_prepare compatibility layer to
invoke this callback from the uio mmap invocation.

<title>drivers: hv: vmbus: replace deprecated mmap hook with mmap_prepare</title>

The f_op-&gt;mmap interface is deprecated, so update the vmbus driver to use
its successor, mmap_prepare.

This updates all callbacks which referenced the function pointer
hv_mmap_ring_buffer to instead reference hv_mmap_prepare_ring_buffer,
utilising the newly introduced compat_set_desc_from_vma() and
__compat_vma_mmap() to be able to implement this change.

The UIO HV generic driver is the only user of hv_create_ring_sysfs(),
which is the only function which references
vmbus_channel-&gt;mmap_prepare_ring_buffer which, in turn, is the only
external interface to hv_mmap_prepare_ring_buffer.

This patch therefore updates this caller to use mmap_prepare instead,
which also previously used vm_iomap_memory(), so this change replaces it
with its mmap_prepare equivalent, mmap_action_simple_ioremap().
