commit 7eb61caf45607e1e1270f51f8f93f0ded53146da upstream.

USB Gen1 requires scrambling and 8b/10b encoding to be performed in the
physical layer. Do not bypass PHY-side scrambler or encoder/decoder for
USB operation, as mandated by the USB 3.x specification.

Scrambler and 8b/10b bypass remain restricted to SATA and SGMII
modes, where encoding is handled in the controller.

commit 21e0749f931702765b9d52d05740092bc87fcd8d upstream.

xpsgtr_bypass_scrambler_8b10b() used xpsgtr_write_phy() which performs
a full register write, silently clearing any bits beyond the intended
bypass control fields.

Switch to xpsgtr_clr_set_phy() with clr=mask, set=mask to set only
the bypass bits while preserving the remaining bits in each register.

commit 6cb22477929489a412df8d153e550e77a012e701 upstream.

The L0_TX_DIG_61 register bit 2 is a reserved read-only field.
The previous mask value 0x0f incorrectly included bit 2, causing
unintended writes to a reserved bit on every scrambler bypass
operation.

Correct the mask to (BIT(3) | GENMASK(1, 0)) to cover only the
valid scramble bypass control bits.

[ Upstream commit 065d5885f6180c534b7b176847b3e008f4e11850 ]

At probe time the driver would display the following error and abort:
  xilinx-psgtr fd400000.phy: Invalid rate 0 for reference clock 0

At probe time, the associated GTR driver (e.g. SATA or PCIe) hasn't
initialized the clock yet, so clk_get_rate() likely returns 0 if the clock
is programmable. So this driver only works if the clock is fixed.

The PHY driver doesn't need to know the clock frequency at probe yet, so
wait until the associated driver initializes the lane before requesting the
clock rate setting.

In addition to allowing the driver to be used with programmable clocks,
this also reduces the driver's runtime memory footprint by removing an
array of pointers from struct xpsgtr_phy.

Every platform driver can be forced to match a device that doesn't
match its list of device IDs because of device_match_driver_override()
so platform drivers that rely on the existence of a device's driver
data need to verify its presence.

The mvebu_a3700_utmi_phy_power_off() function tries to modify the
USB2_PHY_CTRL register by using the IO address of the PHY IP block along
with the readl/writel IO accessors. However, the register exist in the

regmap like it is done in the mvebu_a3700_utmi_phy_power_on() function.

commit da110228b54f2e2143d97ea7151e0dc22e539d67 upstream.

The existing code reads a single hs_term_range_adj value from bit field
[10:7] of FUSE_SKU_CALIB_0 and applies it to all USB2 pads uniformly.
However, on SoCs that support per-pad termination, each pad has its own
hs_term_range_adj field: pad 0 in FUSE_SKU_CALIB_0[10:7], and pads 1-3
in FUSE_USB_CALIB_EXT_0 at bit offsets [8:5], [12:9], and [16:13]
respectively.

Fix the calibration by reading per-pad values from the appropriate fuse
registers. For SoCs that do not support per-pad termination, replicate
pad 0's value to all pads to maintain existing behavior.

Add a has_per_pad_term flag to the SoC data to indicate whether per-pad
termination values are available in FUSE_USB_CALIB_EXT_0.

[ Upstream commit 584b457f4166293bdfa50f930228e9fb91a38392 ]

The serdes device_node is obtained using of_get_child_by_name(),
which increments the reference count. However, it is never put,
leading to a reference leak.

Add the missing of_node_put() calls to ensure the reference count is
properly balanced.
