commit 608cfbe4abaf76e9d732efd7ed1cfa3998163d91 upstream.

The call to clamp_t() first truncates the variable signed 8 bit and as a
result, the actual clamp is a no-op.

If request_firmware_nowait() fails in p54u_load_firmware(),
p54u_load_firmware_cb is not called and no one decrements usb_dev refcnt.

Use the wrapper functions for getting and setting the driver data using
spi_device instead of using dev_{get|set}_drvdata with &spi->dev, so we
can directly pass a struct spi_device.

Drivers that don't use chanctxes cannot perform VHT association because
they still use a "backward compatibility" pair of {ieee80211_channel,
