commit 9a5094ca29ea9b1da301b31fd377c0c0c4c23034 upstream.

A sysfs write callback function needs to either return the number of
consumed characters or an error.

The ad952x_store() function currently returns 0 if the input value was "0",
this will signal that no characters have been consumed and the function
will be called repeatedly in a loop indefinitely. Fix this by returning
number of supplied characters to indicate that the whole input string has
been consumed.

commit 5a4e33c1c53ae7d4425f7d94e60e4458a37b349e upstream.

Fix the displayed phase for the ad9523 driver. Currently the most
significant decimal place is dropped and all other digits are shifted one
to the left. This is due to a multiplication by 10, which is not necessary,
so remove it.

Introduce an enum to specify whether the attribute is separate or
shared.

Factor out the bitmap handling for loop into a separate function.

Tidy up error handling and add a NULL assignment to squish a false
positive warning from GCC.

Change ext_info shared type from boolean to enum and update in all
drivers.

Keeping Makefile and Kconfig entries in alphabetical order usually works better
than just appending new entries at the end, since it reduces the amount of
conflicts. This patch adds a comment to the IIO Kconfig and Makefile files to
document that the entries should be kept in alphabetical order.

Also reorder those entries which weren't in alphabetical order yet.
