[ Upstream commit 19ecbe8325a2a7ffda5ff4790955b84eaccba49f ]

If komeda_pipeline_unbound_components() returns -EDEADLK,
it means that a deadlock happened in the locking context.
Currently, komeda is not dealing with the deadlock properly,producing the
following output when CONFIG_DEBUG_WW_MUTEX_SLOWPATH is enabled:

Here it return -EDEADLK.

deal with the deadlock as suggested by [1], using the
function drm_modeset_backoff().
[1] https://docs.kernel.org/gpu/drm-kms.html?highlight=kms#kms-locking

Therefore, handling this problem can be solved
by adding return -EDEADLK back to the drm_modeset_backoff processing flow
in the drm_mode_atomic_ioctl function.

deal with the deadlock as suggested by [1], using the
function drm_modeset_backoff().
[1] https://docs.kernel.org/gpu/drm-kms.html?highlight=kms#kms-locking

Therefore, handling this problem can be solved
by adding return -EDEADLK back to the drm_modeset_backoff processing flow
in the drm_mode_atomic_ioctl function.

Only really pci devices have a business setting this - it's for
figuring out whether the legacy vga stuff should be nuked too. And
with the preceding two patches those are all using the pci version of
this.

Which means for all other callers primary == false and we can remove
it now.

v2:
- Reorder to avoid compile fail (Thomas)
- Include gma500, which retained it's called to the non-pci version.

v4:
- fix Daniel's S-o-b address

v5:
- add back an S-o-b tag with Daniel's Intel address

According to commit 7945f929f1a7 ("drivers: provide
devm_platform_ioremap_resource()"), convert platform_get_resource(),
devm_ioremap_resource() to a single call to Use
devm_platform_ioremap_resource(), as this is exactly what this function
does.

Since 'struct platform_device *pdev = to_platform_device(drm->dev)',
'drm->dev' is equivalent to 'pdev->deva'.

According to Documentation/filesystems/sysfs.rst, the show() callback

Include <linux/of.h> in source files that need it. Some of DRM's
source code gets OF header via drm_crtc_helper.h and <linux/fb.h>,
which can leed to unnecessary recompilation.

In drm_modes.c, add a comment on the reason for still including
<linux/fb.h>. The header file is required to get KHZ2PICOS(). The
macro is part of the UAPI headers, so it cannot be moved to a less

Replace the use of drm_debugfs_create_files() with the new
drm_debugfs_add_files() function, which center the debugfs files
management on the drm_device instead of drm_minor. Moreover, remove the
debugfs_init hook and add the debugfs files directly on hdlcd_drm_bind(),
before drm_dev_register().
