[ Upstream commit 256576ed6895b81290690ae3e2b9f62eb7c642fc ]

Userspace jobs have drm_file.client_id as a unique identifier
as job's owners. For kernel jobs, we can allocate arbitrary
values - the risk of overlap with userspace ids is small (given
that it's a u64 value).
In the unlikely case the overlap happens, it'll only impact
trace events.

Since this ID is traced in the gpu_scheduler trace events, this
allows to determine the source of each job sent to the hardware.

To make grepping easier, the IDs are defined as they will appear
in the trace output.

commit 04cc4aa3617b0ed67e859f91f09de5d896a46f3a upstream.

The vm pointer returned from amdgpu_vm_get_vm_from_pasid() is only
valid while the lock is still being held. Once xa_unlock_irqrestore is
called and returned, the pointer is no longer under lock and is subject
to modification. Since, the caller still dereferences vm->task_info in
amdgpu_vm_get_task_info_vm() after the lock is removed, this causes a
use after unlock problem.

Remove the lifetime issue present in amdgpu_vm_get_task_info_pasid()
through removing the amdgpu_vm_get_vm_from_pasid() function from
amdgpu_vm.c and making the relevant code inline to hold the lock while
it is still in use.

[ Upstream commit 4e9597f22a3cb8600c72fc266eaac57981d834c8 ]

During a GPU page fault, the driver restores the SVM range and then maps it
into the GPU page tables. The current implementation passes a GPU-page-size
(4K-based) PFN to svm_range_restore_pages() to restore the range.

SVM ranges are tracked using system-page-size PFNs. On systems where the
system page size is larger than 4K, using GPU-page-size PFNs to restore the
range causes two problems:

Range lookup fails:
Because the restore function receives PFNs in GPU (4K) units, the SVM
range lookup does not find the existing range. This will result in a
duplicate SVM range being created.

VMA lookup failure:
The restore function also tries to locate the VMA for the faulting address.
It converts the GPU-page-size PFN into an address using the system page
size, which results in an incorrect address on non-4K page-size systems.
As a result, the VMA lookup fails with the message: "address 0xxxx VMA is
removed".

This patch passes the system-page-size PFN to svm_range_restore_pages() so
that the SVM range is restored correctly on non-4K page systems.

commit 14b81abe7bdc25f8097906fc2f91276ffedb2d26 upstream.

PASID resue could cause interrupt issue when process
immediately runs into hw state left by previous
process exited with the same PASID, it's possible that
page faults are still pending in the IH ring buffer when
the process exits and frees up its PASID. To prevent the
case, it uses idr cyclic allocator same as kernel pid's.

This reverts commit 71598a5a7797f0052aaa7bcff0b8d4b8f20f1441 which is
commit 1f02f2044bda1db1fd995bc35961ab075fa7b5a2 upstream.

This commit introduced a regression, however the fix for the regression:
aa5fc4362fac ("drm/amdgpu: fix task hang from failed job submission
during process kill") depends on things not yet present in 6.12.y and
older kernels. Since this commit is more of an optimization, just
revert it for 6.12.y and older stable kernels.

commit 1f02f2044bda1db1fd995bc35961ab075fa7b5a2 upstream.

If vm belongs to another process, this is fclose after fork,
wait may enable signaling KFD eviction fence and cause parent process queue evicted.

[ Upstream commit 23b645231eeffdaf44021debac881d2f26824150 ]

SVM migration unmap pages from GPU and then update mapping to GPU to
recover page fault. Currently unmap clears the PDE entry for range
length >= huge page and free PTB bo, update mapping to alloc new PT bo.
There is race bug that the freed entry bo maybe still on the pt_free
list, reused when updating mapping and then freed, leave invalid PDE
entry and cause GPU page fault.

By setting the update to clear only one PDE entry or clear PTB, to
avoid unmap to free PTE bo. This fixes the race bug and improve the
unmap and map to GPU performance. Update mapping to huge page will
still free the PTB bo.

With this change, the vm->pt_freed list and work is not needed. Add
WARN_ON(unlocked) in amdgpu_vm_pt_free_dfs to catch if unmap to free the
PTB.
