This was done entirely with mindless brute force, using

    git grep -l '\&lt;k[vmz]*alloc_objs*(.*, GFP_KERNEL)' |
        xargs sed -i 's/\(alloc_objs*(.*\), GFP_KERNEL)/\1)/'

to convert the new alloc_obj() users that had a simple GFP_KERNEL
argument to just drop that argument.

Note that due to the extreme simplicity of the scripting, any slightly
more complex cases spread over multiple lines would not be triggered:
they definitely exist, but this covers the vast bulk of the cases, and
the resulting diff is also then easier to check automatically.

For the same reason the 'flex' versions will be done as a separate
conversion.

This is the result of running the Coccinelle script from
scripts/coccinelle/api/kmalloc_objs.cocci. The script is designed to
avoid scalar types (which need careful case-by-case checking), and
instead replace kmalloc-family calls that allocate struct or union
object instances:

Single allocations:	kmalloc(sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_obj(TYPE, ...)

Array allocations:	kmalloc_array(COUNT, sizeof(TYPE), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_objs(TYPE, COUNT, ...)

Flex array allocations:	kmalloc(struct_size(PTR, FAM, COUNT), ...)
are replaced with:	kmalloc_flex(*PTR, FAM, COUNT, ...)

(where TYPE may also be *VAR)

The resulting allocations no longer return "void *", instead returning
"TYPE *".

The /sys/firmware/secvar/config directory represents Power LPAR Platform
KeyStore (PLPKS) configuration properties such as max_object_size, signed_
update_algorithms, supported_policies, total_size, used_space, and version.
These attributes describe the PLPKS, and not the secure boot variables
(secvars).

Create /sys/firmware/plpks directory and move the PLPKS config inside this
directory. For backwards compatibility, create a soft link from the secvar
sysfs directory to this config and emit a warning stating that the older
sysfs path has been deprecated. Separate out the plpks specific
documentation from secvar.

The sysfs core now allows instances of 'struct bin_attribute' to be
moved into read-only memory. Make use of that to protect them against
accidental or malicious modifications.

'struct kobj_type' is not modified. It is only used in
kobject_init_and_add()/kobject_init() which takes
a 'const struct kobj_type *ktype' parameter.

Constifying this structure moves some data to a read-only section,
so increase over all security.

On a x86_64, compiled with ppc64 defconfig:

writes of up to PAGE_SIZE.

It's possible that the maximum object size is larger than PAGE_SIZE, in
which case, print a warning on boot so that the user is aware.

Currently, the list of variables is populated by calling
secvar_ops-&gt;get_next() repeatedly, which is explicitly modelled on the
OPAL API (including the keylen parameter).

For the upcoming PLPKS backend, we have a static list of variable names.
It is messy to fit that into get_next(), so instead, let the backend put
a NULL-terminated array of variable names into secvar_ops-&gt;var_names,
which will be used if get_next() is undefined.
